It has a rich history and several interesting features, such as settlements and standing stones: The area around St. Madoes has been inhabited for centuries. Archaeological discoveries, including several standing stones and the St. Madoes stone, a well-preserved Pictish cross, suggest settlements dating back to around 1000 C. E. Local eateries and attractions include the city of Perth, with newly opened museum, (March 2024), Perth Concert Hall, Scone Palace, Black Watch Museum and plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes and palates. The Scottish Antique & Arts Centre at Abernyte houses antique shops and a variety of sundry artifacts. It also features an excellent restaurant with fresh food prepared on-site. Cairn O’Mohr Fruit Wines near Errol is a winery where you can explore fruit wines. Glendoick Gardens are beautiful gardens and café, whilst you can experience theatre performances at Inchyra Arts Club.
