Close to Coed Y Brenin Mountain forest park, the valleys of rivers Mawddach, Eden, Gain, and Wen, and the National Trust site in Ganllwyd, the area offers the finest mountain biking in the Uk, with waymarked trails for both cycling and walking, past rivers, gorges, and waterfalls. Visitors can also enjoy fishing at Trawfynnedd, while adrenaline seekers can head to Go Ape High Wires, Zip World Slate Caverns, and the National White-Water Rafting Centre, all close by.
