Conde Surf Camp - by the sea (entire pvt house)

In the heart of the traditional and old seaside district of Vila do Conde, you will have the sea at the end of the street... 2-minute walk to the beach. Surfing is an extra. (some beds are convertible to twin, up to two twin + four single maximum) The space Essentially built with organic and sustainable materials, in fact, part of the furniture was made using/recycling pieces and parts from my previous business, I can tell that story later. The house is equipped with boards and suits that you can rent for your sessions (2 surf spots a 5-minute walk) and has a bedroom with 8 comfortable 'capsule beds' all with individual curtain, lamp and electrical outlet, double bathroom and a cozy living room with sofas, smart TV, fast Internet and fully equipped kitchnette. It also has two peculiar outdoor spaces, one of them with a barbecue, perfect for relaxing – after surfing… THE ROOM With 8 comfortable 'capsule beds' (4 are convertible to two full beds) all with individual curtain, lamp and electrical outlet and - Wi-Fi. The room has a bathroom – double THE CITY and the NORTH REGION The beautiful and ancient city of Vila do Conde, 20 km north of Porto, is a 'must' in the region. Known for its participation in the Portuguese discoveries (shipbuilders and navigators/sailors), wonderful beaches and neighborhoods (historic/riverside and seaside downtown), gastronomy – fresh fish and conventual sweets, and for having been 'home' and inspiration for famous artists and writers/poets over time. When you are not surfing, you will always have a magnificent beach at the end of the street to enjoy, with beautiful terraces, bars and restaurants/nightlife within walking distance, and of course a whole old and beautiful city to explore. I'll give you some tips – of course! If you like to walk, you will have magnificent walkway routes for your walks, especially those located south of the city, in the ornithological reserve of Mindelo - ROM, the first nature reserve established in Portugal. THE SURF Both a five-minute walk to the camp, we have two surf spots available: Praia Azul – consistent good quality beach break, multiple peaks, preferably at low tide. Rock – Mixed bottom, left, low tide/half tide – generally receives less swell than Praia Azul, so it can be a great option when the waves are bigger. Azurara – A 5-minute drive from the camp, on the south side of the city on the other side of the river, this beach is excellent for beginners, as it is sheltered from the waves and the northwest wind is 'cross off' SURFCAMP / LESSONS / RENTALS You can schedule private beginner/intermediate level classes (max 2 people) or group classes. We also rent boards and suits at the camp. These activities will be organized on site and scheduled according to sea conditions and your preferences My coaches and I are FPS-certified and are experienced surfers All Surf activities are covered by insurance. DIRECTIONS / TRANSFERS If you do not arrive by car, we offer free transfers from the metro or bus station of Vila do Conde Contact us in advance if you want this option. We can arrange transfers from Sá Carneiro Airport to the camp by appointment and at a price to be agreed in advance. ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY You have access to all common areas of the – camp (bedroom, living room/kitchen and outdoor areas of the – camp) INTERACTION We will always be available to help or answer questions. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. Most of the time, I'll be in the house next to the camp. OTHER NOTES - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 24 hours, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - Reservations made on the day of check-in are subject to confirmation of the check-in time.
