Set in the aspens and pines at the end of a road, it has sweeping views of the mountains and looks across at Elk Meadows and Valley of the Utes. The property offers an abundance of PRIVATE trails for hiking, ATVs, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. Features a sauna, pool table, foosball, firepit and gazebo with outdoor fireplace. The stunning entry, grand staircase, custom carved doors, massive iron chandelier, and soaring rock wood burning fireplace set the stage for the open living, kitchen, dining, wet bar entertaining space. With the eastern exposure, and lots of windows, this is a beautiful morning retreat. This area leads out to a spacious deck for gathering under the lighted gazebo with central fireplace. The gourmet kitchen is designed with lots of granite counter space and island, a Dacor 6 burner stainless and copper range, stainless appliances and walk in pantry. The wet bar area with wine fridge and ice maker is perfect for gathering friends and getting them out of the kitchen! Three spacious bedrooms each with a queen bed and 2 full bathrooms round out the main floor. The upper level has a beautiful master suite with king bed and gas rock fireplace, and private deck to take in the views. Don't miss the unique bathroom with a glass shower over logs, clawfoot tub and limestone vessel stone sinks with sandstone counter tops. This upper level also boasts another room complete with trundle daybed and a sauna. Please note that the trundle bed shares a room with the sauna and treadmill. The lower level is all about fun! With a massive rock fireplace, pool table, foosball table, poker table and wet bar with mini fridge this is fun waiting to happen! A bunk room that sleeps 7 rounds out this wing of the house. This area has a walk out to the custom fire pit and picnic area complete with lights and a view. There is also an area to put all of your snow gear. This home is located on 25+ acres right in Angel Fire. Enjoy snowmobiling, hiking, snowshoeing and 4-wheeling on PRIVATE acreage! With just a short drive down the mountain to the Angel Fire Resort where you can enjoy their restaurants, a playscape, golf, a playground, tennis, pickle ball, gym, indoor swimming pool and live music. During the winter they also offer sledding. It is about a 10 minute drive to the resort and a 5 minute drive from the resort to the ski mountain. You will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up the mountains in winter. The driveway will be plowed whenever we get 4 inches or more of snow. The garage is currently being used but there is plenty of parking in the driveway. Other things to note There are also two lakes close by where you can enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, biking, etc.
