The Wolf Den

This is your opportunity to stay on the Battlefield while you visit Gettysburg. Surrounded by nature, you will stay at one of the most unique locations in Gettysburg. This secluded retreat is nestled on the western slope of Wolf Hill, on the edge of town. The home poses picturesque views overlooking Gettysburg and surrounding battlefield. Views are best from Fall - Spring when there are no leaves, but you can still catch glimpses of town and surrounding battlefield during the spring and summer. The space The home has 2 bedrooms with Queen beds, 1.5 baths, full kitchen, laundry, air conditioning, and heat. Both bedrooms, full bath, and the the laundry area are situated on second floor. The first floor bodes a spacious living room, half bath, and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, electric stove/oven, refrigerator, and microwave. Dining room table has seating for 4. Location Location is very convenient to Route 15 and Daniel Lady Farm events. Wolf Hill is not as well known as the major battle areas of the Gettysburg Battlefield, but it did play a strategic part in the overall battle as Confederate and Union armies engaged in skirmish battles all around this area in the lead up to the fight for Culp's Hill. Wildlife is abundant. You are likely to see deer and turkey during your stay. GENERAL: Free WiFi, central A/C & heating, complimentary toiletries, linens & towels, hair dryer, hangers, keyless entry Cleaning We are sticklers for cleanliness. All cleaning is done personally by us. All of our beds and pillows have protective covers, as well as the mattresses, and our bedding is completely changed after each guest (including comforters). Every high touch area is cleaned and sanitized between guests with disinfectant. POLICIES -- - No smoking - No pets allowed - No events, parties, or large gatherings Guest access Guests are free to use the first and second floor of the home. There is a basement and an attic, but these are blocked off and not accessible. Other things to note Much like most areas of the battlefield, the property is strewn with large granite boulders and rocks.
