This charming, over 100-year-old semi-detached house has been freshly renovated and offers a lot of comfort and high-quality amenities in a convenient location just outside Cologne. With a separate living and dining area, a complete kitchen and two bedrooms on two floors, you will not only find a place to stay, but a temporary home to relax and work (if you have to). The space Accommodation: Welcome to our charming semi-detached house, a cozy retreat with 90 square meters of living space. Built around 1920 and recently fully renovated, this home combines historic charm with modern comforts like underfloor heating and electric shutters. We live in the adjoining extension, ensuring quick assistance if needed. Location: Nestled on the edge of Hürth-Kendenich in southwest Cologne, our home offers easy access to both the city and beautiful recreational areas, lakes, and destinations in the Rhein-Erft district. Transport Connections: By Car: With direct access to Luxemburger Str., you can reach Cologne and the A4 in about 10 minutes. Brühl and Erftstadt are also nearby. While our parking space is being completed, street parking is usually available. By Public Transport: The bus stops Hürth-Eintrachtstraße and Hürth-Luxemburgerstraße are a 5-minute walk away, connecting you to Cologne's city rail network. The DB station Hürth-Kalscheuren, a short drive or bike ride, or a 30-minute walk away, offers regional trains reaching Cologne Central Station in 10 minutes. By Bicycle: Explore numerous bike trails leading to nearby attractions, including several beautiful lakes. Cycling to Cologne is also a great option. Rooms and Amenities: Entrance: Enter through a shared front door into a small hallway, then through your private apartment door into the house. Here, you'll find a wardrobe and an open staircase leading to the upper floor. Kitchen: Our new fitted kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, kettle, glasses, dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils. A refrigerator with a freezer compartment and a microwave are also provided. Living and Dining Area: A large table for up to eight people is perfect for dining and working. The living room features a TV (with connections for TV sticks and consoles) and a cozy corner sofa that converts into a 130 cm wide bed. Bedrooms: Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The first has a double bed (180 cm wide), and the second has a queen-size bed (140 cm wide). Both bedrooms have bedside tables and wardrobes, and can be almost completely darkened with blinds or shutters. Bathroom: The stylish bathroom includes a sink, large mirror, toilet, and a spacious bathtub with a shower option. Other Amenities: Guests enjoy fast WiFi (up to 250 MBit), as well as fresh bed linen and towels. Other things to note Since this is a quiet residential area, we ask that you respect the quiet hours starting at 10 pm. Due to stairs in the entrance area and in the house itself, the accommodation is unfortunately not accessible. Unfortunately, due to allergies, we cannot accommodate dogs and cats. Since the house was only recently completed, the outdoor facilities are unfortunately not yet finished. But it's all the more beautiful inside.
