Koblenz 20 min · ICE Montabaur 15 min The space Step into Hänsel & Gretel – a landmarked half-timbered house from past centuries, lovingly restored and modernly equipped, in the middle of the quiet Hundsdorf in the Westerwald. On 65 m² over two floors, there is more than you might expect from the outside. On the ground floor: a high-quality kitchen with induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and wine fridge – and a sunny loggia as a dining room in the countryside. Upstairs: a double bedroom and a bathroom with a sit-in bathtub. A highlight: the cozy living room with a 42-inch Smart TV and a sofa arrangement that can be converted into a full double bed (140 × 200 cm). The garden with seating, a parasol and a barbecue invites you to relax. Excursion destinations: Koblenz 20 min. · Montabaur 15 min. · Stöffel-Park 20 min. · Wiesensee 35 min. Note: The house's history is reflected in its structure – low ceilings typical of half-timbered construction in the hallway and living room as well as a narrow, steep staircase to the upper floor. That's part of it and creates the charm. Guest access We will greet you personally and hand over the keys directly – just as you would welcome guests. Just let us know in advance what time you will arrive. Check-in 4-8 pm, check-out is by 10 am. Other things to note Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are, of course, included in the price – you arrive, and everything is prepared. Honesty is part of it: The house shows its more than 150 years in the woodwork. In the hallway and living room, the ceilings are low, as is typical of half-timbered buildings, and the staircase to the upper floor is narrow and steeper than is common today – for us, this is part of the charm, but unfortunately it is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Hänsel & Gretel is a non-smoking house (except for the garden and terrace). We cannot accommodate pets here. You can find public parking within walking distance right by the house.
