Town and Country Mountain Getaway

Farmhouse chic! Our rustic, wooded property is conveniently located by the the Greenway, Waynesville Rec Park and Center, restaurants, cafes, craft breweries. Enclosed courtyard, hiking, creeks, swimming holes, Blue Ridge Parkway-10 mins from our doorstep to Waterrock Knob BREATH TAKING VISTA, 5 min drive to many restaurants and cafes on charming downtown Main St. Waynesville. We are 20 to 30 minutes to Asheville to the east. 30 minutes to Cherokee to the west, easy parking, wi-fi, ample parking The space You will enjoy your own guest suite equipped with brand new furnishings. The space has been completely renovated, painted and refreshed. There is one queen bed and one convertible memory foam sofa, purchased just for the suite, brand new. It could sleep one adult...or two smaller children. Please see photos of the futon and how it is designed if you have someone who needs to sleep on it. It is very comfortable, but adults will have to choose to sleep on one side of it. Message me if there are any questions regarding the futon sleeper. You will have your own private entry, fenced courtyard with plenty of plants and a big shaded table to have a nice coffee or other refreshment! There may be guests in the upstairs suite and there will only be caretakers who will need to maintain plantings in the patio in the event you book more than a couple of days. Be sure to consider overhead noise before booking (if this is a potential issue for you!) There is a gravel road with very light local traffic from time to time. It is essentially a driveway, though, and traffic is usually never an issue. Guest access Enjoy access to the spacious front or back yards. Sit on the grass by the stream right on the property. We do insist that guests refrain from entering the outbuildings or other parts of the residence where other guests or owners may be. There is also a deck out back that is under repair, so please do not occupy the back deck for your own safety. Other things to note We do have cats that may come around to visit. They will stay out of the courtyard when the gate is closed if you prefer. There are other folks around the property during the day. You may hear people, our family, and other noise such as running water or footsteps above. Excessive noise will not be tolerated. We ask that all guests be considerate of others regarding noise level. Please consider this before booking. This is our home so please be kind and respect the house rules while you are enjoying your stay here.
