Behind the cottage, our 2 snowy owls have their "residence." You can see them from the bedroom window and listen to their soothing "hoo." The separately accessible property is at your disposal alone. Here you can enjoy real country life and forget everyday life. The space The low ceilings and the old wooden staircase give the lovingly furnished cottage its charm. It has 2 floors. On the first floor is the kitchen, which invites you to cook, with a "kitchen witch" and seating, the dining room with a small work area, the bathroom with shower, bathtub and washing machine (ceiling height bathroom 1.85 m, all other rooms 2-2.20 m). On the upper floor is the "good room" to relax, watch a movie or read. In the bedroom you can snuggle into the cozy, 1.60 m wide bed. Also on the upper floor is a reading corner with a small selection of books. Other things to note With our 2 original mini folding bikes you can explore the area, cycle to the Elbe, cross with the Elbe ferry and try a delicious Saxon drop in one of the wineries. Then treat yourself to a nice barbecue evening in the garden with a covered seating area or bake stick bread over the campfire and let the evening end. There are also beautiful destinations to reach by car: in 18 minutes you are in Meissen, stroll through the alleys up to Albrechtsburg and visit the porcelain factory or you drive about 30 minutes to Dresden, visit Frauenkirche, Zwinger and the castle or you reach Moritzburg in about 35 minutes with the Augustus the Strong hunting lodge.
