The space Lilac Cottage is a delightful 19th century Cotswold home which sleeps four guests, in two bedrooms, with a family bathroom. There are many traditional charms and character features which have been cleverly enhanced by modern fittings and a contemporary colour scheme. Each room has been carefully curated, a highlight being the bright sitting room with its roaring open fire and multiple windows bathing the space in sunlight throughout the year. The garden offers a fantastic extension of the reception space, complete with a sunny patio and large lawn. Two medium sized dogs are welcome to join, making Lilac Cottage a perfect getaway for the entire family. Accommodation This two bedroom holiday cottage occupies an enviable position on the outskirts of Stow-on-the-Wold, with a plethora of amenities, shops and eateries all within a short stroll. For insurance reasons, Hen and stag parties are not permitted Events are not permitted without prior consent A security deposit is required at this property Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00 Lilac Cottage's back garden gives access to Oddington Road through a series of gates shared with the neighbouring cottages The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
