Oxford is a stylish and modern 3 bedroomed town house, perfectly positioned in the suburbs of Newcastle giving access to the City, Coast and Countryside abound. Longbenton offers convenient access to a wealth of amenities. The Freeman Hospital is just a stone's throw away, Gosforth Park Race Course is 10 minutes drive . Newcastle & Northumbria Universities are all accessible within a few minutes on public transport and the City Centre is 10 minutes away on the Metro The space Welcome to Oxford in LOngbenton, Newcastle upon Tyne. Oxford is an idealistic and relaxing getaway for up to 5 guests . With its spacious lounge , separate dining room and relaxing rear garden you can experience a tranquil getaway. The spacious lounge which streams with light on sunny days has 2 very comfortable sofas for you and your guests to relax on. The kitchen is well equipped if you fancy cooking up a meal or two, which can be enjoyed in the separate dining room. Upstairs you'll find 2 double bedrooms, one of which has a shower ensuite . There's also a single room to the front of the house. The family bathroom, with an over bath shower , provides for the remaining double and single rooms. A spacious landing area has a large cupboard with hanging space which can be utilised by the second double bedroom. The single room has hanging space and drawer space within. All the beds are dressed with pristine white linen and each guest is provided with a bath sheet and hand towel. There is a WC cloakroom on the ground floor in the entrance hall. A standard Travel cot is available but we do not provide any bedding/linen for this. This needs to be booked in advance A 'Next to me' crib is available but we do not provide any bedding /linen for this. This needs to be booked in advance An Ikea high chair is available- it does not have strap fastenings. This needs to be booked in advance A pleasant rear garden has outdoor furniture for sitting in the sun. Kindly note that Electric car charging is prohibited . Guest access Guests have access to the whole of the property and garden areas Electric car charging is not possible at this property and is strictly prohibited. Other things to note You'll also find a delightful pub pub or two within walking distance, ideal for that ‘pint’ or glass of wine or delicious meal with friends at the end of a busy day. Local shops are within walking distance. For those of you seeking a ‘bit of Nature’ you can take a leisurely stroll through nearby parks and green spaces, all within a short walking distance. And for those of you who wish to explore the City, public transport to the town centre is on your doorstep and within 10 minutes you will be in the much-acclaimed vibrant city of Newcastle upon Tyne, brimming with cultural landmarks, shopping districts, and a thriving nightlife. Our Metro service from Four Lane Ends, 5 minutes walking distance, will take you to our beautiful North East coastline in under 30 minutes. For those of you who choose to drive and explore our county then you are on the doorstep of the A189 which takes you over the County boundary into Northumberland and its AONB.
