Ullswater, known as the most romantic lake, and the Keswick area with its spectacular high fells, are both within an easy 20-minute drive. This location is ideal for both outdoor enthusiasts and for those wishing to unwind in a beautiful, relaxing and peaceful setting. The local village has a fantastic country pub dating from the 17th century and a local village store and boasts the magnificent Greystone Castle, the ancestral home of Tarzan which is now open to the public.
