The wonderfully updated kitchen has everything you need to brew a fresh cup of coffee, or create a gourmet meal, and it’s completely open to the charming living room and the Blue Ridge view beyond! Inside is an inviting place where you can enjoy your coffee and the warmth from the gas log fireplace, along with Roku TV! And the perfectly placed picture windows make it easy to enjoy the incredible year-round mountain views. Both are beautifully decorated with their own picture windows and comfy armchairs. The stylishly appointed bathrooms both have walk-in showers, and there are spacious closets in both suites as well. For chilly mornings and starry nights, the hot tub is just down the stairs on the lower deck, where a full-length custom woodland wall mural and a complimentary panorama of the Blue Ridge mountains and rustic swinging chairs create the perfect forest vibe. The hot tub is always bubbling with warm relaxation, and the 4-stool “bar” is always open for enjoying a refreshing cold drink! Your most special moment at Idyll on the Ridge may very well be down the well-landscaped path to our very own al fresco dining pavilion, placed out at the top of the ridge and surrounded by gorgeous mature trees. With woodsy designer wingback chairs and café lights, it’s a magical retreat day or night! Locked closets and shed are not accessible to guests. Other things to note If you are visiting during the winter months and the forecast calls for snow/ice, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is suggested to more easily travel the roads throughout our community and to our cabin. The property is regularly sprayed for bugs, but please note that you’re visiting the forest, and our bug friends live in and around the river and forest. You’ll likely see a friend or two if you leave the doors or windows open. Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out.
