Savannah Marshes Studio - Central to Tybee Beach

Savannah Marshes Studio is centrally located between downtown Savannah & Tybee beach. This gorgeous modern space is the lower level of the home pictured. It's completely private with no sharing spaces. It has a living room (sleeper sofa), bedroom w/ queen bed, bedroom w/ twin bed, bathroom w/ rain shower, and a full kitchen w/ stainless appliances, modern countertops and coffee bar! The kitchen has everything you would need to make a meal or snack for your family! No pets allowed please The space You will arrive to a quiet upscale picturesque neighborhood. You have your own parking spot close to your private keyless entry so you don't have to walk too far to unload and carry in your personal belongings. The space is newly designed in a modern ocean theme. The small living room boasts a flat screen smart tv and wifi so you can connect to your personal Hulu, Netflix or Prime during your stay. There is a leather full-sized sleeper sofa in the living room as well as a side chair and coffee table. You will find a binder with a lot of information about places to eat and visit while you are in the area. There is a small closet with an iron and hangers and a couple suit case stands available for you to use. There is also a small 3-drawer dresser for you to unpack some things if you need to! There are two sleeping areas with the bathroom in between them. One is a bedroom with a queen sized bed. The other sleeping area has a small twin sized bed. You do have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom. All sheets and bedding, including extra blankets are included for your stay! We want you to feel like you are at home, with a little bit of luxury added! You will have a fully renovated modern bathroom, with rain shower and blue tooth defogging mirror, so you can shower and listen to your tunes at the same time! The bathroom will have all towels, wash cloths and a makeup cloth for your stay. We also include tissue paper, hand soap dispenser, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A hair dryer is available in the drawer under the sink for your convenience. We have just remodeled a complete kitchen for our guests! It is equipped with stainless steel full sized appliances. You will find ample room to cook and serve meals for your group during your stay! You will find a coffee station with coffee and tea selections for you to choose from. Other than that, you should find just about anything you would need in the kitchen to make, serve, eat and store food. (You will have to shop for the food!). There will also be a selection of cleaners under the sink to help with clean up. There is no dishwasher in the space, so dishes will need to be washed by hand and dried before putting away. There is also no washer/dryer in the space. The surrounding neighborhood is wonderful and safe to take walks if you like to do that. In the backyard, there is a view of the marsh and at high tide, you will see water in the marsh, so please be watchful of any small children who will be staying with you for your trip. There are two grocery stores five minutes away by car, Publix and Kroger, to do any shopping you would need. There is also a Walmart 10 minutes away. The location is right between Savannah's gorgeous historical area/River Street and Tybee Island and beach. A short 15 minute drive to either one. A few attractions nearby are Derek's Dolphin tours, Oatland Island Wildlife Center, Tybee Island Marine Science Center, Fort Pulaski National Monument. Some other interesting things to check out that are a few more miles away but not too far are Bonaventure Cemetery, Wormsloe Plantation, Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens, Forsyth Park and the Savannah Squares. Take a walk along River street and hope to see one of the massive shipping container ships come through. Also, The Cathedral Basillica of St. John the Baptist is worth seeing and they allow visitors to come inside most days. If you only have a few days, think about taking one of the many trolley tours of Savannah during your stay or catch a food tour to try more of the local food fares. Don't forget to visit Tybee beach and pier, and maybe even rent some fishing poles on the pier and try to catch some fish! If you catch something, a few of the local restaurants will cook it up for you so you can have it for dinner! How cool would that be?! This area is a wonderful place to visit, lots of floral picturesque views with crepe myrtle trees and azaleas when in full bloom. Horse drawn carriage rides, a breezy walk through the historic squares will have you feeling like you are caught up in a slower more peaceful time. The weather is gorgeous most of the year and the people are friendly and welcoming! Whatever you choose to take in, you will enjoy your stay in our beautiful Savannah and Tybee Island! We please ask that no pets are brought with you for your trip and also, so smoking or vaping in the space. If you should need anything during your stay, we are convenient in the separate upper level of the home and just a phone call away! Some things to add clarity to just in case you missed some of the important details that were mentioned elsewhere. 1. This is a home split up into 2 separate units. The upper level space will be occupied by other renters or the owner at times. They will not be in your lower level space at all. You will have your own secure (locked) space, keyless entry, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping areas. You do not have to share the lower level space you rented with anyone else. 2. Since this is a home with 2 separate units, both units will be able to hear noise from time to time coming from the other unit. This is no different than any other multi unit building. There will be NO noise enforcement during the daylight hours of 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM each day. Making noise during the day and having fun is normal behavior! You are here to have fun on vacation and we are in full support of that...enjoy your stay which includes music, laughing, talking, etc during the day. We do, however, have to abide by local noise ordinances during the night hours of 10:00 PM through 9:00 AM. We don't have a choice there. So, we ask that you keep a respectful volume during these times. The upper level guests or owners will do the same. 3. This is a newly renovated space with many modern touches. Some of these things will only exist in the space, dependent upon who is staying. We recently had a review call out the knife holder on the wall. These guests did not have small children accompanying them, so the knives were left out for use and to keep the modern look. For guests with small children, we do have a cloth chef's roll where we will put the knives away safely in a drawer out of reach of children prior to your arrival. You may use them at your convenience. 4. It is mentioned more than once that the home is next to the marsh which can have water at high tides. Please never leave children unattended during your stay. This point is worth noting enough times that it cannot be missed. 5. You will always find the space updated and crystal clean!! A contractor lives here and is very diligent in upkeep and the place will be fully cleaned after every guest exits and before new guests arrive. 6. The space is not huge, but it is also not tiny. Please note the square footage to determine if it works for you prior to booking. If you are a family of 4 or 5, you have to like being in each other's close proximity. There are only 3 beds, 1 Queen, 1 Full and 1 Twin. So, sleeping spaces will need to be shared with each other. In order to offer a full kitchen, with full sized appliances and all of the kitchen things plus coffee bar, we have sacrificed having a larger eating area indoors. There is a counter top outside the kitchen, with 4 stools, if you need a space for your group to eat. If you find that is not enough space, we have also included an outside table and chairs on the porch. Both of these spaces are depicted in photos. 7. This space does not include a dish washer, washer or dryer. We will ensure enough towels and face clothes available for 1 per day each for each person staying to ensure you have fresh towels each day of your stay. We hope this helps! 8. The building has a tankless water heater, so once the hot water gets to you (can take a few minutes), it is unlimited for your showering pleasure! 9. There is only one bathroom in the unit you rented. You have to walk through one of your bedrooms to get to it. There are 2 doors to the bathroom, one off of one bedroom and one off of another sleeping space. 9. If you should want to have professional photos taken during your trip, the host is a professional photographer. Inquire before arriving for availability!
