The space Welcome to our charming retreat. - **Lower Level:** Cozy bedroom equipped with a versatile bunk bed (full-sized below, twin above, and a trundle twin), complemented by a handy laundry and mudroom. - **Main Floor:** Accessible via stairs or a single step from our specialized parking space, you'll find a delightful kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, a comfy bedroom (queen-sized bed), a welcoming living room, a dining area perfect for shared meals, and a serene sunroom. - **Upper Level:** A haven for relaxation with a cozy reading nook, a functional desk, and a spacious bedroom featuring a luxurious king-sized bed. **Note:** Due to the presence of stairs throughout the property and its approach, this home may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges. **Important Reservation Policy:** We require bookings to be made under your true, verified identity. Pseudonymous usernames will result in reservation cancellations. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience. This is a home set in nature and, at times, there may be bugs that make their way in your spaces. We do our best to keep the area free of bugs, but at times you may encounter small friends. This is the absolute perfect place to come to enjoy your booktok bests. You could not find a more perfect location for a bookworm getaway. Guest access Welcome to your enchanting haven! Subject to availability, there are Tritoon tours of Klinger Lake. Per group, 60 dollars for first hour and 30 dollars per hour for additional hours. Guests are welcome to explore all areas of the home except for the two garage spaces. Enjoy the serene lake just across the street, accessible by a set of steps. Please be cautious, as these public steps are steep and should be navigated at your own risk. The hot tub is located at the owners home on the lower level patio area. It is a covered area. The hot tub is a shared space, so we ask that you give us a 10 minute notice prior to coming over to use the hot tub. This allows us to ensure your privacy. Hot tub will not able to used between the hours of 10pm-6am. We have very early risers in our home and this allows them to get sleep prior to going to work. From the parking area, you’ll find steps leading up to the main entrance of the home. For those unable to manage stairs, there's a parking spot with direct access to the deck via a single step. The lower level can also be accessed by driving around to the basement entrance. While there is a dock for your enjoyment, boats are not allowed to be docked there overnight. Please contact the Klinger Lake marina to learn about boat slip availability. UPDATE: The dock has been taken out of the water for the winter season. We hope you enjoy your stay in this cozy retreat! Other things to note Just 45 miles from Notre Dame, your peaceful retreat awaits to enhance your game day experience! Relax and rejuvenate in the hot tub, a short walk away. Choose the longer paved path or take a delightful stroll on a trail leading through the woods and into the adjacent property, noting occasional uneven patches—please tread carefully. Explore your abundant walking paths around the wooded neighborhood, and feel free to bring along your kayaks or paddle boards. Should you wish to dock additional boats, please consult with us beforehand due to limited space. A drivable public lake access and boat launch are available for your convenience. This serene community embraces a relaxed pace, often traversed by golf carts. Please drive mindfully, keeping an eye out for walkers, cyclists, and fellow carts in this gentle, harmonious haven. Enjoy the convenience of your washer and dryer, and experience seamless check-in through the contactless process. Welcome to your cozy sanctuary—a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure.
