The space The cabin features two spacious covered porches, a cozy living room with a wood burning fireplace, two king en-suites, a large loft with a queen/living area, a fully stocked kitchen, indoor and outdoor dinning areas, and an outdoor fire pit with a stocked wood shed. Bedroom/bath 1 are on the first floor. Bedroom/bath 2 and the loft area with queen bed are on the second floor. Every bedroom has a television. The fully stocked kitchen has all the amenities of home, including a bean grinder and coffee making supplies for the coffee lovers (drip, french press, pour over, and Keurig). We also stock locally roasted coffee beans, either from Hatchet Coffee or from Bald Guy Coffee. Guest access Guests have access to the entire Cabin Other things to note We like to offer guests an easy check out- only load and start the dishwasher and go, that is it! This property is truly mountain top. All wheel/4 wheel drive is required for winter months when snow fall may occur. The gravel road up to the cabin, which is winding and steep in a few areas, isn't cleared/plowed unless there is more than 6 inches of snow accumulation. Review weather forecasts and road conditions in the Watauga County area prior to your trip and plan accordingly. If heavy winter precipitation is called for, snow chains may also be needed. We do our best to communicate in advance to our guests about severe weather conditions and the impact to the road up to the cabin.
