Spacious Yurt Retreat Near River + Lake
Description
Welcome to The Robin’s Nest — a cozy, spacious yurt on a peaceful, nature-filled property. Enjoy tall ceilings, natural light, and a private deck. There are two yurts nearby. Guests have access to a covered outdoor cooking area. We are a mother-daughter run space. My partner and I live on the property with our two small dogs and are happy to help while giving you space. No cell service — the perfect place to unplug. The space Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchenette with a bar fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven/air fryer, and hot & cold water dispenser. There’s a dining table with seating for four, along with a couch and two chairs for relaxing. A ceiling fan and A/C keep the space comfortable, and a selection of board games is available for cozy nights in. Outside, enjoy your private deck with comfortable seating, a patio table for four, and a propane fire pit for evening ambiance. A covered outdoor cooking area includes a BBQ, burner stove, and utensils. The shared bathroom and shower house is located just steps from the yurt and is well lit for easy access at night. Located at the end of a private lane, the property offers a peaceful, quiet escape surrounded by nature, with large open grassy areas to enjoy. While it feels tucked away, you’re still connected to the community by a nearby golf cart path leading to the Community Hall, tennis and pickleball courts, and playground. We overlook Mabel Lake Blueberry Farm, home to the Very Berry Café and fresh local produce — known for blueberries in season. You’re just a 5-minute walk to the Shuswap River and approximately 10–15 minutes to Mabel Lake, including the public beach and boat launch. Enjoy nearby beaches, boating, fishing, river floating (in safe conditions), white water rafting, and a 9-hole golf course just minutes away. The property is spacious and relaxed, shared with a few nearby yurts, creating a quiet, community-style atmosphere while still allowing plenty of room to unwind. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the large, grassy upper portion of the property. We kindly ask that you avoid the lower rocky, non-grassed areas. The cabin, RVs, tents, small yurt (including its deck and seating), as well as the back yurt and large deck, are occupied by other guests or hosts, so we ask that these areas are respected for their privacy. During your stay We live on the property in the cabin close by. We would prefer to be contacted by text (as sometimes we are at the lake/river or working at our other jobs, but are often very close by should you need anything, or have any questions. In the evenings we love to sit outside in our gazebo around the fire ... we enjoying have friends and guests come join. Other things to note There is no cell service in the area and limited access to stores. A small local convenience store offers a basic selection of food, drinks, ice, liquor, and essentials, but options are limited. There is no gas station nearby (only boat fuel), so we recommend filling up and purchasing groceries in Enderby or along your route before arriving. The kitchenette includes a bar fridge, so if you plan to bring extra food or drinks, a cooler is recommended. There is also a restaurant located at the nearby golf course for dining options. Propane is included for the BBQ and fire pit. Registration Details Provincial registration number: PM458231350
