The space The Five Ranges Outpost gets its name from the five mountain ranges that surround this region of Arizona, all viewable from our property: Mt. Wrightson and the Santa Rita Mountains to the West and Northwest; the Whetstones to the East; the Mustang and Mule Mountains to the Southeast; the Huachuca Mountains to the South. INCREDIBLE VIEWS! Enjoy some of the best views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the village of Sonoita from our multiple patios. Take in a dramatic sunset over the Santa Ritas, or watch the monsoons roll in from the Arizona borderlands. After dark you’ll likely see the Milky Way, meteors, and a flyby of the ISS. The home comfortably sleeps up to six guests. The primary bedroom includes a king Tempur-pedic mattress, custom hand-made pine headboard, and an attached bath with shower. The second bedroom features a queen Sleepys mattress and desk. The third bedroom offers flexibility with a comfortable pullout couch that becomes a double bed. Our chef's kitchen is fully stocked and includes a coffee bar with a variety of teas and coffee. The dining table in our expansive Arizona room seats six, or smaller groups can cozy up at the bar or breakfast nook. Just steps outside, on the South-facing patio you’ll find a BBQ grill, fire pit, and panoramic views of the five mountain ranges. The Five Ranges Outpost is located just 5 minutes away from the Sonoita crossroads, making it an ideal launching point for a day of adventure, whether it’s hiking in the nearby Coronado National Forest or BLM lands, kayaking at Patagonia Lake, or enjoying nearby attractions such as the award-winning wineries of the Sonoita AVA (American Viticulture Area) or events at the Sonoita Rodeo grounds.
