Relax in the sand, play lawn games in the expansive grassy area, swim, paddle board, kayak, sun bathe on the swim platform, make s’mores at the fire pit, and enjoy stellar sunsets. Nestled in a nature-filled, relaxing environment, yet close to amenities and ten minutes from Lake Michigan and Grand Haven, this home provides everything you need for a relaxing, fun-filled vacation, and is the perfect getaway for your family. This 2,700 square foot, 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath Craftsman style cottage home offers a unique set-up with a separate primary suite upstairs with sitting area and fireplace, two bedrooms on the main floor, with a sunny open kitchen that opens up to a large living room. A large bonus living room and full bathroom in the basement is great for movie nights, board games, or a quiet space to work from home. Portable desks and office chairs are available for all of your WFH needs. Fast Wi-Fi at 500 Mbps. After a fun day at the beach, enjoy a meal cooked on the gas grill, unwind on the covered porch, or head down to the lake to catch the sunset from the sand. Bring your fur babies, up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed. Full size washer/dryer. Smart TVs are located in main living room, basement living room, master suite, and one main level bedroom. Spectrum high speed internet. Spring Lake is a 1,000 acre, all sports lake that boasts over 25 miles of scenic coastline. The home is located at Petty’s Bayou, where you can enjoy the serenity of a no-wake zone. In addition to water toys that we have available for your use, you can rent kayaks, paddle boards and canoes, and have them delivered to your door through a local business, and can have boating, tubing and jet ski adventures through local rental operations. We are happy to provide those recommendations to you. Just a block from Central Park, pickleball courts, dog park, and paved and lighted bike trails that take you 4 miles to Lake Michigan and Grand Haven, or for the more dedicated bicyclists, continue on the 11 mile loop trail that begins just minutes from the lake house. A few minutes by car or bicycle will bring you to Spring Lake amenities, including boat launch, grocery store, wine shop, restaurants, cafes, take out, coffee shops, bars, ice cream shop, bakery, gas station, pharmacy and nail salon. Grab a pizza from Village Baker or Mia’s Village Eats and enjoy on the beach or take the bike trail over to Brooklyn’s Bagels for breakfast, or Dr. Rolf’s BBQ for lunch. Leave your car behind and take the trolley into Grand Haven’s downtown and beachfront areas. Trolley stop is walkable from the home or schedule a curb-to-curb ride. Operates 7 days per week during the summer. BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS/SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Upstairs primary suite: Large bedroom with king size bed, 60” smart TV, private full bathroom, walk in closet, sitting room with fireplace. Futon couch in sitting room folds down into twin size bed. Vaulted ceilings with skylight. King size bed may be divided into 2 twin beds upon request. Downstairs bedrooms (2) One bedroom features a queen size bed, closet, and Smart TV, and the second bedroom has two XL twin beds and a closet. First floor bedrooms share a bathroom with tub + shower. Large, comfortable couch in living room serves for additional sleeping space for one person. Additional quarter bathroom on main floor. LAUNDRY Full size washer and dryer is available for your use. BATHROOMS One tub/shower combo on main level, one half bath on main level, one full bath with shower stall in basement, and one full bath with shower stall and bathtub in second level primary suite comprise a total of 3 1/2 bathrooms. All include a variety of towels and plenty of storage. KITCHEN Full, open-concept, well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, four burner gas range and microwave. Plenty of cooking implements including pots & pans, baking sheets, Pyrex, water kettle, coffee maker and toaster. Eat-in kitchen with table and chairs, and stools at the kitchen island. BASEMENT REC AREA/LOUNGE A large recreational space in the basement with Smart TV (65”) lounge area (Netflix, Hulu, game enabled, etc.), full bathroom. You have full access to the home with exception of garage and storage rooms on the first floor and in the basement. Large driveway accommodates up to 4 vehicles. Guest access Guests will not have access to the garage, as well as several locked storage rooms on the property. Other things to note Pets: Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome for a flat rate of $25. Safety: In the second floor master suite, there is an open loft. Please do not let children climb on or near the loft. Neighbors: we love our neighbors and ask that guests respect the tranquility of the area by keeping quiet hours from 10pm - 8am. Family groups only in order to retain the tranquility of the area. No parties or events. Security: We have a Ring camera installed at the front door. This is only for security, primarily for times when the house is unoccupied. Once we see you've arrived safely, camera is turned off unless there is cause for concern. Our vacation rental is on a private road, and in order to preserve our community vibe, we have strict rules to help ensure the preservation of our neighborhood culture. Two weeks before your rental begins, you will receive the address of the property. The day before your arrival you will be provided with the code for keyless entry. Upon arrival, you will find a Welcome Packet with house information and instructions, including Wifi passwords, etc. as well as local resources. Feel free to ask ahead of time for any recommendations. Bed linens, bath linens, shampoo, body soap provided.
