Welcome to our little slice of heaven nestled in the wooded countryside of Burlington, NC close to Elon, UNC and Duke! Walking trails, a lake & a 10 acre wooded lot beckon you to relax & unwind. Enjoy the starry nights, campfires by the lake & the back brick patio or cuddle up on the daybed in the master bedroom. Our 2600sq ft home has stunning views of the lake, sleeps 8 with a king, queen & two sets of bunk beds. You will feel like you're in the mountains but just a few mins from town. The space Our serene retreat is nestled in the wooded countryside of Burlington, NC, just moments away from Elon, UNC, and Duke. Our tranquil haven boasts a spacious main living area where floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the beauty of the lake and surrounding nature. Walking trails, a picturesque lake, and a sprawling 10-acre wooded lot, invite you to unwind and rejuvenate. Step out onto the covered porch overlooking the lake to savor the tranquility as stress melts away. Spend your evenings stargazing, gathering around campfires by the lake, or lounging on the back brick patio. With stunning lake views, our 2600-square-foot home comfortably accommodates 8 guests, offering a king bed, a queen bed, and two sets of bunk beds (which we call the Moose room). Each bedroom exudes comfort, featuring plush bedding, vanities (downstairs), and an office space in the primary bedroom. We have 2.5 bathrooms. Although you feel you are at a mountain getaway, we're conveniently located just minutes from town. Our fully equipped kitchen caters to all your culinary desires, complete with a gas stove, microwave, crockpot, air fryer, and more. Unwind on the brick patio under starlit skies, adjacent to the fully stocked game room. Grill your meals by the fire pit, illuminated by charming string lights. Forget about bottled water – indulge in our purified drinking water, softened and filtered for your enjoyment. Just utilize the small faucet to the left of the sink. Our area offers easy access to numerous attractions, as detailed in our guest book. Explore local gems such as Red Oak Brewery, The Children's Museum, and Burlington City Park, or partake in outdoor activities at Lake Macintosh. During your stay, your well-being is paramount. For your comfort, we've provided air purifiers to minimize allergens and ensure fresh, clean air throughout your visit. Feel free to explore our expansive 10-acre property using the marked trails, while respecting restricted areas such as the garage and wood splitter. Enjoy bank fishing on our lake for a relaxing outdoor experience. Other things to note Elon University is 14 miles from our home. You must be 25 years or older to rent from us. We have a $200 security deposit for two nights and a $500 security deposit for three or more nights. Your health and safety is a priority to us. To minimize allergens we have provided air purifiers in our home to help provide you with clean, fresh air during your stay with us. We’d love to welcome your loved ones into Airbnb.
