Our recently renovated detached bungalow by the banks of the River Tweed, on the Southern Upland Way is a tranquil getaway. Nearby Melrose, is a charming rural town and the Waverley rail line provides frequent transport links to Edinburgh. The space The open plan kitchen, dining and living area is ideal for socialising, whilst a separate snug/TV room provides a cosy retreat. The bifold doors lead out from the dining area onto a south facing decking and private garden. Other things to note The town of Melrose is a 10 min stroll from the house and is famous for its Abbey and as the home of Rugby Sevens. The town has restaurants, coffee houses and an array of independent boutique shops. Abbotsford House, the home of Walter Scott, is a 5 min drive away. Melrose Golf Club is a 9-hole golf course nestled at the foot of the Eildon Hills.
