Robbins Cabin - A Sugar Camp Gem

Come stay and play at a completely renovated historic Red Dot Corporate 3 bedroom cabin that includes access to two lakes with NO public boat landings - perfect for those who love a clear, sandy bottom lake to play in and a smaller pan fish filled lake to fish. Guests can pay to use a neighboring boat launch to launch their own water toys (please note - no jet skis allowed) or use the 2 fishing kayaks, canoe and rowboat included in the rental. Former Burr Valley / Red Dot families - rejoice! The space Robbins Cabin has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, washer/dryer, completely renovated kitchen and large main room. There is not a window that doesn't have a spectacular view! From watching sunsets over the lake, to listening to the call of loons, you will love this Northwood's paradise! The beautifully renovated cabin has new flooring, a new kitchen and remodeled bathroom and huge deck and covered porch. There is air conditioning, WiFi, Smart TV, games, puzzles and a selection of books. The ample windows provide fresh air and majestic views of pasture, mature pines and, of course, the lake. There is also access to one other smaller lake as renters at Sugar Shores! This lake is beautiful pan-fisher person's dream! Private, small and with no public boat landing - it is a quick walk from the cabin on private trails to a small private boat landing with a private rowboat available at no charge for our guests to use! We want to share a special welcome to former Burr Valley and Red Dot Potato Chip families who have decades of memories on Sugarcamp lake - as one of the only rental cabins available on the lake, we know that some have searched for an alternative to rentals that used to be available - and we wish you a warm welcome back to paradise! Guest access The cabin has a private fire ring, grill, covered porch, deck and parking. The property includes access to 2 miles of private hiking and biking trails. Remember: because the lake does not have a public boat landing, the boat traffic is limited to residents / guests. Other things to note As pet owners, we know how important it is to bring the whole family with you when you travel, so are happy to allow up to 2 dogs per stay. However, we require dogs to be leashed and contained at all times during the stay. Please note that there is a $150/stay pet fee to bring pets. The property has historic significance for the area and was previously owned by Red Dot (Frito Lay) Potato Chips company as their northern corporate retreat. Prior to that, a narrow gauge railroad can still be found on the property was used to bring lumberjacks and lumber back and forth from Rhinelander. Even before that, the property was home to a prohibition dance hall, grocery store and postal office! This cabin has never been offered as a rental to the public before.
