Enjoy this spacious and serene space, just 15 min from downtown Dayton, OH. Perfect for business travelers, couples, or solo adventurers, you'll have the entire unit in this duplex to yourself, along with a generous fenced-in yard. This unique home was originally an 1800s log cabin and features exposed original wood beams, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area with smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, comfortable bedroom loft with queen-sized bed and office nook, and a clean, updated bathroom. The space The main entry is on the side of the house and opens into a large kitchen and dining room with ample storage space, including a full size refrigerator and microwave, plus a full size washer and dryer so you won't have to worry about visiting a laundromat. The cabinets are stocked with all the basics you'll need, but if you find there's anything missing please don't hesitate to reach out. We've included two types of coffee machines - a traditional one and a single-serve Keurig - so you can choose your preferred method of caffeine intake. The living room is spacious and equipped with a large wall Smart TV equipped Roku. High Speed Internet and Wifi are included in your stay, so you'll be able to stream from any and all of your favorite services. The bedroom is located upstairs and is furnished with queen size 10" memory foam mattress. We have used zippered mattress protectors from the beginning to ensure that every one of our guests is protected and can sleep comfortably. We've included two complete sets of sheets and pillowcases, and layered cotton and fleece blankets to customize your comfort level while you are sleeping. The best part is that this type of bedding fits easily in the washer and dryer - no oversized comforters or duvets that are difficult to launder (and let's be honest - you're always left wondering if and when they have actually been washed!). The upstairs loft also includes an office nook, with a desk and office chair for those that work from home or want a comfortable space to work in the evening. Guest access This property is a duplex and you will be staying in the east side. If you are facing the house from the street, the east side is located on the left. The east side has a separate driveway from the west side - please only use the east side driveway. Plenty of free parking is available in the driveway. The electronic keypad is located on the side door. Each side of the duplex has a separate fenced in back yard. Please only use the east side fenced in back yard. You may also utilize the storage shed and small dog run within the east side fenced in back yard. The pond and shelter you see further in the distance are located on private property and are not included in your stay. There is no access to the nearby bike path from this property. Please do not trespass on the private property outside of the fenced in back yard. Other things to note Starter supplies of toilet paper, tissues, paper towel, toiletries, and laundry detergent provided. Cleaning supplies are provided. If you are interested in adding on a regular cleaning service during your stay, contact us! The home has central heating and air conditioning, controlled by the thermostat in the living room. Electricity, water, and gas are included in your stay, but kindly be mindful of your usage. You'll find a washer and dryer available for your use in the kitchen. We have a small starter supply of laundry detergent for your use, but you are responsible for your own detergent. Plenty of free parking is available in the driveway. The electronic keypad is located on the side door. You'll find rugs to wipe your feet clean at both the front and back entrances. Please place all garbage and recycling in the bins located outside of the duplex. Trash pickup is every Monday morning, and recycling is picked up every other Monday morning. Bins should go out Sunday evening to Monday morning by 5am. All materials must fit in the bins and the lids must be fully closed. Do not overfill the bins.
