This esoteric town, built on the world's largest crystal bank and intersecting Latitude 14, which also crosses Machu Picchu, is a biodiversity hotspot blessed with pristine waterfalls and breathtaking natural landscapes. The local town offers plenty of amenities, but you will need your own car to access them. Wireless internet is available, and there are hot water showers. Mariri Jungle Lodge provides an ethnic, arty, and colorful experience where you can observe monkeys, exotic birds, and enjoy the natural beauty of waterfalls. Originally a small abandoned house, it has been transformed into a magical African safari-style lodge using mostly organic materials, reflecting the owner's love for art and travel. With a variety of accommodation options, all offering a jungle feel, a high level of comfort, and outstanding views, Mariri Jungle Lodge is your perfect getaway. Guest access Guests have access to all common areas of Mariri Jungle Lodge, including our beautiful tropical gardens, hiking trails, and creekside relaxation areas. The treehouse offers a unique Nature immersion experience. While there is no internet in the treehouse to ensure a fully relaxing disconnect, Wi-Fi is available in the main house. Guests can enjoy the natural pool, fed by water straight from the mountains, and the wood-fired Finnish sauna. It's possible to jump into the refreshing cold water of the natural pool straight from the sauna. Other amenities include an extensive library, yoga temple, green veggie patches, a private forest with a meditation deck, and fresh fruits and veggies from the land. Each guest has their own private room equipped with a personal dry toilet. If you are not familiar with dry toilets, please take the time to read about them before your visit. Dry toilets are compostable toilets that do not use water to flush; you sprinkle sawdust after use to prevent water pollution. Showers are available throughout the property, along with evapo-transpiration system bathrooms for those uncomfortable with the dry toilet system. Other things to note For a complete immersion in nature, we offer high-quality vegan cuisine, prepared with locally sourced and mostly organic ingredients. Breakfast is R$58 per person, lunch R$55, and dinner R$78 per person. Snacks and additional meals can also be arranged with advance notice. Our Lodge is eco-friendly and features sustainable infrastructure, including ecological dry toilets and evapotranspiration showers. For your convenience, Wi-Fi is available in the main house. Take advantage of our extensive library, filled with books about nature and wildlife, or unwind in our yoga studio to relax and recharge. We also have a Finnish sauna service for a truly rejuvenating experience (check the service fee).
