A cosy stone-built cottage on the pretty Llyn Peninsula, Y Granor is one part of a traditional Welsh long house that has been carefully renovated and oozes character, with lots of original features. A great romantic hideaway for a couple, but plenty of space for children if needed. The space Part of a collection of houses forming part of a restored Welsh long house, Y Granor (the Granary) is an ideal holiday cottage for couples or small families. Set in the centre of the Llyn Peninsula, it is a great base for exploring the culture and heritage of this beautiful part of Wales. Ground Floor Kitchen A compact kitchen but with everything that’s needed, including dishwasher, electric oven, fridge with a freezer compartment and microwave. Living Room A cosy living room with a large wood-burning stove and french doors leading out to the garden. The traditional farmhouse dining table is in one corner of the room between the kitchen and the seating area. Family Bathroom Heated bathroom with bath. First Floor Bedroom 1 A twin-bedded room directly at the top of the stairs, which has no door but a curtain for privacy. Young children need to be aware that there is no gate at the top of the stairs. Bedroom 2 A king size bed in the eaves of the cottage. Outside A lovely sunny garden, the bottom of which is linked to the garden of The Longhouse next door. The Local Area The Granary is located in the heart of the Llyn Peninsula, just a short drive from all of the main towns, beaches and attractions. A few hundred yards away is Glasfryn Parc, with lots of activities for all the family, from go-karting to wakeboarding. The famous Italianate village of Portmeirion is a short drive away and makes a great day out. For the more adventurous, Abersoch Watersports offer an array of different activities.
