Peaceful secluded stay on 30 acres just an hour to an hour and a half away from Dallas. Overlook a private 5 acre lake and take in the scenery or the amazing stars at night. You can fish, relax, or explore! All the amenities of a luxurious hotel suite, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, but just 15 minutes from Commerce, TX. Of which, has everything that you may need including a quaint small town coffee shop, nice selection of restaurants, and stores. The space Brand new rustic farmhouse cabin with great views of land, water, and stars. One bedroom with a master that has a king-size bed, armoire to store your clothing, nightstands, and a chair to sit on to pull on your boots. The living room includes a Queen fold out couch which is great for guests or children you may bring along for your getaway. One full bathroom includes a vanity, stand-up shower with white subway tile and a stackable washer/dryer unit for use during your stay. A fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven with an electric convection stovetop and full-size refrigerator and freezer with ice maker- key for Texas summers! Another Texas must is ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom along with oversized Heating and Cooling unit so you can be comfortable. A 290 sq. ft. patio overlooks the 5-acre lake and includes Adirondack chairs to relax and overlook the water or gaze at the stars along with an outdoor table and chairs to enjoy meals outdoors. The property itself is peaceful and secluded. Enjoy walking the 30 acres, which is fully fenced. Fishing is plentiful in the private 5 acres lake, so enjoy catching and releasing largemouth bass off the shoreline or pier. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home and 30-acre property. The property is accessible by gravel roads so be sure not to take any dirt roads in the area during or after a rain to avoid getting stuck. Detailed directions will be provided to stay on gravel roads and how to access the property. There is one other cabin on the property, but they do not share amenities and are separated by a wooded tree barrier for privacy. Other things to note This is in nature, so there is active wildlife on the property. No hunting is allowed, but you also need to be aware of snakes and wild animals. Carry a stick or something for protection if you are going to walk about the property. Do not drive off the gravel or asphalt roads in 2-wheel drive vehicles or you may get stuck. There are all-weather driving instructions available in the arrival guide and the directions. Commerce, TX is a 15 min drive to plenty restaurants, fast food, grocery stores, hardware stores, ice cream shops, Starbucks, and great local attractions. There is poison ivy and thorny trees present on the property and near the cabins so be cautious when walking around the property. Liability Waiver: You understand that swimming, hiking, encounters with any animals, fauna, or insects, and the use of any equipment is at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from any of these risks and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as potential health risks, or if a person swims, hikes, comes in contact with animals, plants, or insects, or uses the equipment while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, hiking or using boats(not provided).
