It's a 12-min walk to Glenn Beach (great for dogs), and a very short drive to some of the most popular beaches and nature preserves on Lake Michigan including Oval Beach, Douglas Beach, Pier Cove, North Beach & South Beach as well as the Kalamazoo River. Don't forget Apple, Cherry and Blueberry picking, which are all nearby! This is a newly renovated property that has kept its original 1920's charm with a modern twist. It offers amazing privacy in the curated backyard. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are 3 bedrooms with new beds and furniture, 3 full and one ½ baths (all newly renovated with rain showers) situated on one of the most scenic acres in the area. Then head into Saugatuck for what is known as some of the best shopping and arts in the region. The area is especially known for antiques but there are amazing clothing, crafts, décor and other boutiques in town. After that, enjoy Saugatuck’s thriving restaurant and bar scene in one of the most idyllic coastal cities in Michigan. Or head south 10 mins to another top beach town with more great restaurants, bars, shopping and family activities in South Haven. You are right smack in the middle of these vibrant towns. And if you feel like staying in, enjoy cocktails and food in the beautifully manicured and flowered gardens featuring a massive firepit, two pergolas, a pond, barn and some of the most stunning sunsets over the lake. We really put our all into this home to make it a great get-away for you in one of the most sought-after beach areas in Michigan and outside of Chicago and Detroit. The house comfortably sleeps 6, however we do have an air mattress (queen, double decker) that you are welcome to use upon request (or bring your own), should you want to add more folks. Please just ask us ahead of time. There is also a playground and basketball court next door that is open to use (and always empty).
