Identical rental rates and same property owners. https://www.vrbo.com/1688444......All rates are listed in Cad$ Upon arriving at your home away from home you will be greeted by a breathtaking view of the ocean and St.Margaret's Bay islands. This stunning wide open view is visible from your two decks and the front deck is equipped with a propane fire pit for cozy evenings. A choice of seating arrangements makes it hard to leave this centrally located, clean, freshly painted, well equipped beach house. Coffee in the mornings on your covered lanai listening to the waves lap at the shore line. Wine in the evenings, on your master bedroom side deck as you relax in your adirondack chairs, after your daily adventures. Both decks offer a perfect visual to see the occasional seal, porpoise and eagle. Minke whales have also been spotted. In the evening stargaze with the telescope. Binoculars are also provided. Your cottage is 500 sq. feet. The master bedroom has large windows providing a panoramic water view, and a walk-in closet. Bedroom patio doors open onto your 1st. deck which is equipped with a barbecue and propane fired lobster pot along with two comfy adirondack chairs. Your front deck and covered veranda provide additional seating and an outside eating area. Your kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to make your vacation stay with us as convenient as possible. We even provide a coffee grinder. (Our previous guests have often commented on how well equipped the kitchen is.) The kitchen window also provides the same stunning view of the bay. The bathroom has a shower. No tub. Extra sleeping is provided on the memory foam pull out couch. High speed internet and cable hook up along with games and movies. Washer and dryer on site. There is beach access just across the road. (This beach is not accessible at high tide.) A quick 2 minute walk will take you to a beautiful sandy beach with a 2-5 minute drive to 4 others. Your ocean access available in front of your cottage provides great opportunities for finding beach glass treasures. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided. A lovely bistro, Emile's, is within a 5 minute walking distance. Hubbard's Seaside Village which is a 10 minute drive away offers many more dining options. The Tuna Blue is a local favorite in Hubbards Cove, it's oceanside with opportunities to see stunning summer sunsets. Downtown Halifax is 30 minutes away, Peggy's Cove, 30 minutes. Enjoy a Peggy's Cove Free Walking Tour which provide visitors with a comprehensive and knowledgeable guided tour of the unique history and features found within the picturesque village of Peggy's Cove. The tours provide fascinating information about the unique geological formations in Peggy’s Cove, the natural landscape, diverse marine and plant life, history, and modern significance. Come learn why Peggy's Cove is visited by over a million people each year, and experience its wonders in a new and interesting way! Picturesque Chester is 15 minutes away and Mahone Bay 35 minutes. UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg is a 45 min. drive. This town is home to the famous Nova Scotia racing schooner Bluenose II. For tours and sailing schedule see https://bluenose.novascotia.ca/schedule The coastal drive to Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg will take you through many small fishing communities with some great photo opportunities. Annapolis Valley Wine Tours are available with pickup in Hubbards which is 5 minutes away. A drive to the start of the Annapolis Valley will take about 40 mins. There you will find a completely different landscape. Most of the area is below sea level and orchards and wineries are plentiful. Historic Wolfville is situated in the North Western portion of Nova Scotia, along the shores of the Minas Basin which is part of the Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides. If you are a fan of the History channel's "The Curse of Oak Island" you will be excited to explore and tour the area which is a 30 min. drive from our property. Tours and booking information available on their website https://www.oakislandtours.ca/experience.html The Rails to Trails biking/walking trail runs behind our property which is terrific for wonderful views while running, walking or biking. The trail runs from Halifax past Lunenburg and is the old railway track that used to take passengers along the South Shore from Halifax to Yarmouth. ABOUT THE PROPERTY, UNIQUE FEATURE The unique feature of our cottages is an enclosed breezeway which is in between the 2 units. When the kitchen doors of each unit are open the entire living area of each cottage become one joined space. Each cottage is a stand alone unit, and each cottage sleeps 4. This is the perfect answer for larger families. Here are some recommended attractions, most within a 15 to 40 minutes drive. * Tantallon Farmers Markets, Tuesdays 2pm-6pm.
