Are you looking for a luxurious, unique place to stay? This house sits overlooking Rapid City with incredible skyline views, every evening is as picture perfect as the glowing city lights. This unique house is a fun mix of eclectic and fancy. Originally built as a local builder's "Coup de Grande", he ended up only finishing the guest house. You will find high-end finishes mixed with eclectic choices. We promise this will be one of the most memorable places you'll ever stay! The space Established two decades ago, this house was originally built by an eccentric, successful contractor. He had visions of helicopter pads, a mansion attached to this guest house, and many other features. We love what it is today - our "Castle in the Sky"! The VIEWS!! This house overlooks Rapid City, and all year long, it has the most incredible views. Whether it is the elegant beauty of the interior house or the amazing views outside, your eyes will be pleased with what you see! The inside of the house is as much of a work of art as it is a place to live. It has amazing finishes such as beautiful wood beams, high ceilings, elegant angles and high-end appliances. The king bed in the master bedroom is positioned overlooking the city with the best views in the house. Disclaimer: The eclectic side shows itself in a few quirks, for example, your entrance will not be upstairs through the gorgeous 10-foot doors but through the unfinished basement downstairs. This is so that we can outfit the entry door with a digital door lock so that every guest can have their unique door code. These locks are not compatible with the upstairs doors. The staircase outside is made up of beautiful giant slate slabs instead of a normal staircase. You may use them, but exercise caution as they are large boulders. The only unfinished item upstairs is the pot filler; it's pretty but doesn't work yet as we don't have a waterline hooked up at the moment. You will have access to the entire house with the exception of the garage. The garage is reserved for the owner only. We are a small team of friends who will be available 24/7 for anything you might need. The self-check-in is contactless with a unique door code sent to you on the day of arrival. This property has a long gravel driveway with a steep hillside on one edge. Please don't drive fast on the driveway. There is a large equipment behind our driveway that you may notice - this is off limits. It is not our equipment, and we don't want anyone to get hurt or to get in trouble for trespassing. There are stone stairs into the property. Use at your own risk. They can be slippery when wet and have no railings. The upstairs doors use a special lock that has to have the handle turned upwards to latch. They do not automatically latch. You are responsible for latching the doors to stay shut if you are at the property. Any damage caused by doors coming open will be your responsibility. Guest access You will have access to the entire house with the exception of the garage.
