The Little House on Bear Creek

La Casita is perfect for two adults and up to three children, a romantic getaway for two, or even a weekend get away for besties! Completely brand new with a queen sized pull out couch bed, a queen sized loft-styled bed, and a full sized bunk-styled bed! Even equipped with a 7.5 cubic foot fridge, a full bathroom with small walk-in shower, and even a small kitchenette area. Added features include outdoor shower, firepit, BBQ grill, full access to large pole barn and Bear Creek. The space La Casita sits on 7.5 beautiful acres with the back 1.5 acres being Bear Creek. This tiny home sits furthest back on the lot and is secluded from the rest of the property. You will have access to the property in its entirety. The property mangers, Joe and Kim, live in the home at the top of the property. Don't worry, they will not be in your way and will only be as involved with your stay as you need them to be. We do offer four listings across the property, so it is possible that there will be folks in the common/shared spaces. If interested in renting the entire property for your family or event, just let us know! We do offer add-ons like tent rentals, sleeping bags, portable toilet and most things you would need to camp. We also offer light grocery shopping, so the things you will need will be there upon arrival. Just let us know what add-ons interest you and we can create the perfect rental package for your consideration. Guest access The space comes with access to an outdoor cooking area under a large pole barn, an outdoor shower, firepit, hog roaster, and Bear Creek. Other things to note This rental is for those looking to unplug (there is no TV and no Wifi - cell service works just fine). While we strive to create a "glamping" feel, there is no full kitchen, and the intent is to be outdoors and a tad off grid. We are constantly upgrading and adding features. Our location is about 45 minutes away from Panama City Beach, but it's worth the drive. We are also a short drive from Mexico Beach, the Florida Caverns, Blue Springs State Park, and many other areas to explore. A brand new Publix is a short 10 minute drive away with all other dining, shopping, and the like a short 15 minute drive away.
