Located within walking distance to Mansfield Hospital in a quiet neighborhood, you'll enjoy serene surroundings and the sound of birds chirping outside your windows. This fully equipped apartment features 2 spacious bedrooms, an authentic 50s kitchen, modern decor, and a tranquil backyard, perfect for healthcare professionals, patients and people from all walks of life. The space Our cozy 1950s ranch retreat features two very spacious bedrooms perfect for a restful night's sleep. The home includes a beautifully styled 1950s pink bathroom, a large living room with ample seating, and a fully equipped kitchen with charming 1950s metal cabinets that give it a delightful diner feel and vibe, in addition to two large bedrooms. Adjacent to the kitchen is a cozy dining room for your meals. Enjoy additional space in the huge basement, ideal for storage or recreational activities. This delightful home offers comfort and convenience in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Note: This is an original 1950's home featuring a lovely "of the era" vintage bathroom and kitchen, completely in tact. We worked hard to preserve the original design integrity, including fixtures like lighting, tiling and more, which means keeping all components (sometimes its more expensive to repair than buy new, but we believe keeping the original keeps its character!). For example, the tub is an original cast iron made tub ("they dont make them like they used to!"), and while it shows signs of its age (it is nearly 80 years old!), it is clean and completely functional. Thank you for understanding and appreciating our "old house", and all of its character intricacies. Update: The kitchen has been recently renovated, including freshly painted cabinets, walls, new lighting fixtures and upgraded appliances. Guests Greater Than 4: If your party is more than 4, please note that there are only 2 queen/full sizes beds and 1 fold out futon, comfortably sleep 5. If you are more than 5 people (or are not comfortable with a futon), please inquire prior to making a reservation to make sure we can comfortably accommodate your party. For example, we can easily add an addition twin bed or cot to one of the bedrooms, and potentially a bunk bed. Please inquire prior to booking (for parties bigger than 5). Guest access Guests will have access to the entire apartment which is one side of a ranch duplex, a full kitchen, laundry, basement, patio/porch, backyard, 1 parking space, and plenty of street parking as well. All spaces are private. Other things to note The couch/futon folds down into a about a twin sized bed. Please let us know prior to booking if you would prefer to have extra bedding for the couch. Please inquire if you are booking with more than 4 guests so we can make sure to accommodate you comfortably. We have a very comfortable air mattress, but arrangements must be made prior to the booking to set it up and provide extra bedding.
