This lower unit duplex is a fantastic space, a beautiful home in downtown Charlevoix, only 3 blocks to Lake Michigan in the heart of the valley, with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. Guests love its fantastic location…removed from the bustle of town but close to everything. This lower level duplex has a private entrance and driveway up front. Relax during your stay with comfortable furnishings and great amenities: a fully stocked kitchen, open-concept interior, front deck, wi-fi/tv, A/C, grill, and laundry facilities. You can relax and enjoy the up north atmosphere, just minutes from all Charlevoix has to offer. The space: This home is newly furnished, with hardwood floors, plenty of seating, and an open floor plan. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen offers many amenities and a variety of seating, with dining at the table and seating for 4 at the kitchen bar. The kitchen includes a microwave, gas range/stovetop, range hood, coffee maker, toaster, blender, plenty of kitchen/baking ware, cooking utensils, etc. -Mornings at Downtown Charlevoix Charmer have so many options!-Take your coffee to go on a morning beach walk as you hunt for Petoskey stones…just 2 blocks away! Or -savor it outside on the front deck and listen to the neighborhood wake up. ...another option? - Walk 3 blocks to one of town's great coffee places, and stroll along the marina or catch an art show in the park. Cook your meal, graze from the bar, or grill outside! Take advantage of beautiful nights in Charlevoix - Use the front deck to have a drink or listen for the waves on Lake Michigan just 2 blocks away. -Staying inside for the night? Check out our games, gather up at the table, or spend a night playing cards with a movie on. Right off the kitchen you will find a spacious living room with a great view out the large front window. Cozy up and watch a movie or tv (cable tv stations provided) with a 50” Smart TV. Be sure to check out the entertainment cabinet for games, puzzles, cards, and books to explore. Sleep great with quality bedding & mattresses. PARKING: Driveway (2 vehicles), plus street parking -Please note the garage is only utilized for storage and parking inside is restricted. You can walk to everything! CENTRALLY LOCATED in Northern Michigan -A home base to explore: On the south side of the bridge in town, the cottage is only a short drive to many of Northern Michigan's fantastic small towns, lakes, festivals, golf courses, art shows, breweries/wineries, and outdoor recreation areas! Charlevoix has many wonderful restaurants, retail stores, as well as a three-screen movie theater and grocery shopping center all within walking distance! Stroll the city streets and enjoy the views of Lake Charlevoix, Round Lake, and Lake Michigan. Have children with you? - Take advantage of the downtown splash pad and watch boats in the harbor. Relax in Charlevoix and slow down the pace after a day outside! Enjoy our wintertime festivals (see Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce website), downtown boutique shops, restaurants, local candlelight hikes at Mt. McSauba, breweries/wineries, and cross country skiing-snowshoeing-hiking at Fisherman's Island State Park, just a few minutes away! We love giving our guests tips and recommendations for activities, stops, local hotspots, and unique experiences nearby...feel free to check in with us after booking! They may access the space through the front entry, where there is a lockbox for simple check-in. The key code will be provided before your stay. Guests may use the whole living space inside, in addition to the front deck, yard, and side yard grilling area. Guests are able to park in the driveway and may access the garage only for outdoor needs (grill & outdoor equipment inside garage). There is room for 2 vehicles to park in the driveway, with additional parking on the street.
