The route is well-maintained and connects to the extensive Baraga County and Keweenaw Peninsula trail network, offering hundreds of miles of scenic riding through forests, along rivers, and near Lake Superior. • ATV / 4-Wheeler Friendly: During spring, summer, and fall, the same trail system is open to ATVs and side-by-sides. You can ride directly from the cabin, explore miles of off-road trails, and discover scenic overlooks, lakes, and hidden waterfalls throughout the area. 🎣 Things to Do Fish in the river just steps from the cabin Explore scenic hiking trails and nearby waterfalls Or simply kick back, relax, and recharge in nature’s peace What’s Included in Your Stay To make your visit more convenient, we’ve stocked the cabin with the essentials: Laundry & Bath • Starter pack of Tide & Downy • Six rolls of toilet paper & tissue paper • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hand soap • Hairdryer • Towels & washcloths Kitchen • Paper towels, dish soap & dish cloth • Salt, pepper & cooking spray • Dishes, pots, pans & silverware • Coffee, cups, cream & sugar • You may also find some extras such as foil, ziplock bags, misc. spices, or a few canned foods — please help yourself • If a previous guest left soda or water, you may find these in the fridge or pantry — feel free to enjoy them • Garbage bags are kept in the bottom of the garbage can in the pantry — please leave any unused bags for the next guests Outdoors • Fire pit (firewood available in town) • Marshmallow sticks (in the pantry) • Charcoal grill (please bring charcoal & lighter fluid) Entertainment • Fun board games & a few books • Smart TV • Free WiFi Outdoor Light & Security • The outdoor light on the garage stays on from dusk to dawn and does not turn off. It helps keep the area well-lit for your safety and for the protection of the property. • We also have outdoor security cameras that face the entrance areas, driveway, and parking area. These are in place for everyone’s safety and to help us monitor the property while it’s unoccupied. Both the light and cameras are to remain on at all times. Other things to note Guest Notes Fireplace & Outdoor Fires • The indoor wood fireplace is not available for use. • Please enjoy the outdoor fire pit instead. • Don’t forget to pick up firewood in town. • Marshmallow sticks are provided in the pantry for your use. Grill • We do have an outdoor charcoal grill available. • Don’t forget to bring charcoal and lighter fluid. Parking & Garage • The garage is not available for guest use. • We do have ample parking to accommodate large trucks and trailers for 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, side-by-sides, or snowmobiles. Woodshed • The woodshed is not for guest use. • Firewood can be purchased in town. • Please do not take firewood from the locked woodshed, as it is reserved for owner use.
