Welcome to Seastar Getaway, a south facing, light and art filled 537 sq foot immaculate one bedroom condo in the Mermaid Wharf building! Renovated in 2021, "Seastar Getaway" offers a memorable stay with a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, in suite washer and dryer, a cozy gas fireplace, hi-speed internet (Fibre +500), 65” Smart TV and a Juliet balcony. Building amenities include secure underground parking and access to a shared roof deck with a BBQ. The space Mermaid Wharf is located in Chinatown, Victoria s historic Old Town. Explore the hidden alleyways and cobblestone streets of Old Town to discover its hidden gems, breweries, vintage stores, and second-hand shops... all steps away from Mermaid Wharf. Essential amenities are easily accessible by foot, bike, or public transit. From grocery stores and pharmacies to restaurants and retail shops, everything you need is close at hand and the vibrant downtown core, filled with entertainment options, is only minutes away. This prime location places you within walking distance of Market Square, Chinatown, and an array of dining and shopping experiences. For paddling enthusiasts, Ocean River Adventures, located next door at 450 Swift Street, offers kayak rentals and storage. Guests also have access to the Mermaid Wharf strata kayak dock, making it easy to launch directly from the property. Additionally, the nearby Victoria Inner Harbour provides multiple kayak launch points for those looking to explore the waterfront further. Guest access You will have the entire apartment to yourself throughout your stay, with a parking fob for the parking garage and an access fob for the lobby, elevator and rooftop deck. Other things to note MINIMUM 90 DAYS rental effective May 1, 2024. PARKING for one vehicle is INCLUDED in the rent in the buildings` secure underground garage. GARAGE HEIGHT: 6 ft.3 (1.9m) - If you have a large vehicle, please be sure and check the garage clearance for the building to make sure your vehicle will fit. MAXIMUM VEHICLE LENGTH is 18 feet. CHECK-IN: You will receive the important check-in information email and text message with the check-in instructions 7 days before arrival. Check-in is as from 4pm P.S.T. Occasionally we may be able to accommodate an early check-in request but this is not guaranteed. CHECK-OUT: Check-out is no later than 11am P.S.T. Upon check-out and to assist our cleaners, guests are kindly asked if they would put the towels in the washer and turn on, to put the dishes in the dishwasher and turn on, to remove all purchased food items from the refrigerator and to dispose of the garbage and recycling from the unit. All properties are NON SMOKING. City and Strata bylaws dictate that there is no smoking of any kind inside, outside, on balconies or even within 7 metres (23 feet) of all buildings. Fines are enforced and will be $250 for each instance. MINIMUM AGE to rent is 25. No pets allowed. BICYCLE STORAGE: A bike rack is provided in the parking spot of the condo for secure storage of your bicycles. QUIET HOURS: From 10pm to 8am. Please respect our neighbours VP cannot guarantee that building amenities will be functional, sometimes they are down for service and this is out of our control. There is no wifi in the common areas of buildings. No furniture is ever to be added or removed without written approval and assistance by VP. Victoria is the busy, vibrant and growing capital of British Columbia. Just as in many cities in BC, Canada and likely other countries in the world, we are experiencing a shortage of housing. In dealing with this situation there are several new buildings being constructed in the downtown core, and elsewhere. We recognize that there could be some daytime noise but are confident that it will not interfere with your time in beautiful Victoria. Business License #00046493
