Located in the quiet Hamlet of Dead Man's Flats: A 10 minute drive to downtown Canmore. Grab one of our blankets to enjoy your private covered patio, and be content to stay in, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfy living room with electric fireplace, scenic views, and two Smart TVs. Enjoy quiet & tranquil West-facing views of trees and mountains from this 2nd floor apartment. This single bedroom unit features a coveted KINGSDOWN GOLD MATTRESS for an amazing restful sleep. The space OUR LOCATION: We are a 10 minute drive from Downtown Canmore, and a 24 minute drive to Downtown Banff. Sparrowhawk Lodge is situated conveniently near the Wind Valley and Pigeon Mountain hiking trails. When here, there is fast access to lower elevation trails such as Guy Lafleur and the Trans Canada Trail. Behind our resort is a beautiful accessible walking trail that winds along a creek. DRIVING: There is FREE parking in our enclosed underground parking garage. Having your own vehicle is necessary, as there is no public transport to Canmore/Banff. OUR BUILDING: Constructed in 2024, with the following amenities available: -Year Round, Outdoor Heated Pool and Hot Tub: 8am-10pm daily. -A Gym Stocked with equipment. -Locking Bike and Ski Storage in the parking garage (Large Shared Storage Cage: Your personal code grants you access to the shared cage and you may bring your own personal locks for use within the storage cage). -A Liquor Store: 12-10pm daily. -A Local Favourite Coffee Shop and Roaster 'Eclipse Coffee' featuring delicious locally made treats: 7:30am-5pm daily. MORE ABOUT OUR SPACE: We are a stylish single bedroom unit with a luxurious King-sized Kingsdown Gold Mattress for an amazing restful sleep. A foldable crib is always available for little ones. There are black-out blinds on the living room and bedroom windows. All the cooking tools and some basic cooking ingredients (salt/pepper, coffee, assorted tea, cooking oil) to make up a fully stocked kitchen. We provide a drip coffee machine, as well as a french press. We provide all towels and linens. Hairdryer. Soaps, Shampoo/conditioner. A queen-size sofabed can accommodate 2 additional guests (additional fees apply for additional guests. If only two guests are staying, and decide to use the queen bed linens; an additional laundry fee does apply). We hire a local 3rd party cleaner. They are a wonderful, much appreciated person and a thorough worker. The cleaning fee, in it's entirety, goes directly to pay them. In order for us to keep our cleaning fee as low as it is, we do ask that all guests follow the check out procedures. This helps make our cleaner's day great, and allows us to keep our cleaning fees lower for our guests. RESORT AREAS TO LOOK FORWARD TO: -Two community gas fire pits in the manicured courtyard. Guest access PERSONAL ENTRY CODE: Your entry code will be 4 digits from your registered phone number You'll need to press # each time, to activate the code. This code will allow you access to all the building’s entry doors, including the garage door, and your unit’s door for the duration of your stay. We will forward your personal code close to your check-in day. Other things to note SOFA BEDDING LAUNDRY: Un-registered use of the sofa bed's clean laundry will incur a $50 laundry charge. Please ensure the number of registered guests in your booking details is accurate. Kindly register any 3rd or 4th guest staying with you. Additionally registered guests will waive the additional laundry fee. If only 2 guests are registered and also chose to use the sofa bed linens, as well as the king bed, there will be a $50 laundry charge added to your fees. OUR VIEW: Our unit is located on the 2nd floor, West-Facing. And there is a natural forested view with nearby mountains for you to enjoy.
