This west-facing, second-floor one-bedroom offers peaceful forest and mountain views, two Smart TVs, and a premium Kingsdown Gold king mattress for exceptional rest. The space Location & Surroundings Sparrowhawk Lodge is nestled in Dead Man’s Flats, a peaceful mountain hamlet just 10 minutes from downtown Canmore and 24 minutes from Banff. The property offers quick access to Wind Valley and Pigeon Mountain hiking trails, as well as lower-elevation routes like Guy Lafleur and the Trans-Canada Trail. A scenic, accessible walking path winds along a creek directly behind the building. Getting Around & Parking Free parking is provided in our secure, enclosed underground garage. A personal vehicle is required, as there is no public transportation to Canmore or Banff from the property. Building Amenities (Constructed 2024) • Year-round outdoor heated pool & hot tub (9am–10pm) • Fully equipped fitness gym (9am-10pm) • Secure bike & ski storage (shared cage with personal access code; bring your own lock) • On-site liquor store (2pm–10pm) • Eclipse Coffee Roasters on-site (7:30am–5pm), a local favorite with amazing baked goods. The Space This stylish one-bedroom unit features a luxurious Kingsdown Gold king mattress for a truly restful sleep. Blackout blinds in the bedroom and blinds in the living room ensure comfort at any hour. A queen-size sofa bed can accommodate two additional guests (additional fees apply). A foldable crib is always available for little ones. Kitchen & Comforts The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and basic ingredients including salt, pepper, cooking oil, coffee, and assorted teas. Enjoy both a drip coffee maker and a French press. Fresh linens, towels, hairdryer, soaps, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. Cleaning We proudly employ a trusted local third-party cleaner. The entire cleaning fee goes directly to them. To keep this fee as low as possible, we kindly ask guests to follow checkout instructions. Guest access You’ll receive a personal 4-digit entry code (derived from your registered phone number) prior to check-in. Press # to activate the keypad. This code provides access to the building, underground garage, and your unit for the duration of your stay. Other things to note Sofa Bed & Laundry Policy Unregistered use of sofa bed linens will result in a $50 laundry fee. Please ensure your booking accurately reflects the number of guests. Registering additional guests waives this fee. If two guests use both the king bed and sofa bed linens, a $50 laundry charge will apply. Location, View & Noise Our second-floor, west-facing unit overlooks a peaceful natural landscape with forest views, an open field, and nearby mountain scenery. The balcony is a healthy distance from both the highway and railway, unlike many units in the Bow Valley, providing a slightly more tranquil setting. A small feeder creek flows to the North, providing a nearby nature immersion experience. As with most homes in the Bow Valley, train and highway sounds may still be heard from the open doors, but the unit’s orientation and distance from these corridors help minimize noise significantly. We are fortunately situated slightly away from these noise sources, compared to many nearby accommodations.
