Description

Experience the charm of The Triangle Cabin, a cozy A-frame retreat offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Colorado mountains. Just 1.5hrs from Denver, this inviting hideaway provides a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Thoughtfully appointed, the cabin features a hot tub with epic views, cozy fire-pit, a fully equipped kitchen and an array of games and books to encourage you to unwind and disconnect. AWD or 4WD will be required to access The Triangle from Sept 1st-May 31st The space 🎿 VISIT BRECKENRIDGE - 50 minutes to ski resorts including Breckenridge, Keystone & Copper Mountain - avoid the i70 and come the scenic route along the 285 and over Hoosier pass ⛷️ ❤️ Add my listing to your WISHLIST by clicking the ❤️ in the upper right corner 🏡 The Triangle Cabin has a large main living area, and an upstairs loft bedroom. The loft is appointed with a comfy queen sized bed, and the living area has a queen sized memory foam sleeper sofa. The back patio has a great seating area with a propane grill, fire-pit and hot tub for star gazing in the evening. 🫎 The Triangle Cabin is remote. The only (human) neighbors are way off in the distance, and that's one of the things we love so much about the place. The wildlife neighbors stop by to say hello from time to time. We see pronghorn antelope, hawks, bunnies, hummingbirds, bluebirds, and we have been told the occasional moose stops by, although we have yet to meet them. 🍂 The cabin is just a few minutes drive from beautiful Kenosha Pass, and the Colorado Trail, which goes from Durango to Denver. Kenosha Pass is one of the best places to view the gorgeous changing aspen leaves in the fall & is beautiful for hikes all year round! 🎣 Nearby Jefferson Lake and Tarryall Reservoir are great places for fishing, picnicking and hiking. Local ranches offer horseback riding and ATV tours. ☀️ ❄️ Weather - the weather is very changeable at the cabin all year round. Please check the weather when booking our property. The cabin can experience extremes from high winds to inches of snow. We get plenty of sunshine too, but conditions can change quickly. Please be prepared for all weathers during your stay. The cabin was built in the 70’s and has a little give to her in the windy weather. She can get creaky, so please pack a sound machine or ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. We try our best to maintain the premises by regularly salting the decks/walkways in the winter and around the hot tub, but sometimes mother nature has other ideas, so we always advise caution when walking outside as there may be snow or ice in places. ❄️ Winter/Altitude clothes packing advice - please ensure you are packing suitable clothing for the cold & changeable weather, especially in the winter months (September - May) The altitude is at 9500 ft above sea level - if you are susceptible to altitude sickness, this cabin probably isn't for you. If you are concerned, please pack a Boost oxygen canister & Ibuprofen. Please make sure you pack thick socks, slippers, warm comfy clothes and several outer layers. The cabin can get cold from time to time - it is heated with baseboard heaters and there are also free-standing heaters for your comfort. ❄️ Vehicles: Please note - during the fall to spring season - Sept 1st to May 31st the weather is particularly unpredictable. We won’t be issuing refunds for adverse weather events or if you bring an unsuitable vehicle to the property. (AWD or 4WD with good ground clearance required) If you drive out onto the driveway or unpaved road leading to the cabin in snow and you get stuck and require a tow, it will cost you the guest $400-500 for the tow + $100-175 for the plough fee. Please contact us before attempting to drive in the snow, if you are worried about getting stuck, to ensure that the road is plowed before you leave. We have a plow contractor who will come and plough the road & driveway whenever 4-6 inches of snow are forecast, so please ensure this has been done before attempting to leave.❄️ 🌟 Check out @triangle.cabin on socials for exclusive offers and insights! 🌟 Amenities: ♟️ Board Games - we have a selection of board games and books for your entertainment 🔥 Fire pit - enjoy a glass of wine by the fire. It is a propane fire pit, so no wood is needed. 🍗 BBQ Grill - there is a small 2 burner propane grill perfect for grilling out on the deck with a gorgeous view. 💦 Hot Tub - enjoy an evening of relaxation and bubbles under the stars ✨ Please note that the hot tub gets serviced professionally however due to the rural nature of the property sometimes guests bring small pebbles/sand in off their feet into the tub. We advise you to bring flip flops with you to help prevent against this. There are also bugs in the area, especially in the summer months. Sometimes they can get into the hot tub. We provide a net for fishing them out and can give you access to a “spa vacuum” for any pebbles upon request. We also ask that you ensure to shower before entering the hot tub as any water contact with cream/oils from the skin can disrupt the pH of the hot tub and form a oily layer on top of the water. This requires an emergency clean which will be a $95 charge to the guest. Please be advised that the hot tub is for use at your own risk. Guests should consult a medical professional before using the hot tub if they have any health concerns, and always exercise caution when entering and exiting the water. No liability will be taken by ourselves or Airbnb for anything that may occur in or around the hot tub during your stay. Please consider these items before booking our property. Bugs - during the summer months in particular, there are many flying and crawling creatures. The cabin is remote and surrounded by nature, so naturally the bugs will be out in full force in the warmer weather. We provide a fly-swat and bug spray should you need an extra helping hand & our cleaning team works their hardest to keep on top of it. If you are bothered by bugs please reconsider booking our property. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, and the entire 3 acre property, with the exception of the storage shed. Guests use the hot tub at their own risk. Other things to note The small spiral staircase is a tight squeeze, so please be aware. No Parking is permitted on County Roads 📱Cell phone reception is spotty, but we do have WiFi! 👶🏼🚫 In general, the property isn't suitable for young children (under 12 years) and there aren’t any children’s amenities (eg pack n play or high chair). Please reach out if you have any further questions on this. STR Licence #: 22STR-00023
