Winter light filters through tall trees as the creek moves steadily nearby, and the air carries that calm, hushed feeling that makes you slow down without trying. You might wrap your hands around a warm mug indoors while watching the forest wake up, or step outside briefly to breathe in the crisp air before retreating to the warmth of the fire. This creekside Seattle home is set up for families and groups who want space to be together while still having room to spread out. The property consists of two connected units, both included exclusively with your stay, making it easy to gather or enjoy a bit of separation when needed. Sleeping arrangements The home sleeps up to 12 guests across five bedrooms and a queen sofa sleeper. The Garden Room features a king bed and a peaceful layout suited for rest. The Zen Den includes a queen bed and a desk for quiet work or reading. Three additional bedrooms each offer a bed with a memory foam hybrid mattress, along with storage and thoughtful touches. In the upper unit family room, a queen sofa sleeper provides additional sleeping space for flexible group arrangements. Kitchen & dining Both units have full kitchens, allowing groups to cook together or separately. Each kitchen connects to a dining area, making shared meals simple whether you are preparing something homemade or enjoying local takeout. A coffee bar in the upper unit adds an easy start to winter mornings. Living areas The upper unit living space centers around a gas fireplace, creating a cozy place to gather on cooler evenings. The lower unit offers a relaxed atmosphere with a smart TV, record player, books, games, and DVDs - ideal for unwinding after a day out or staying in. Bathrooms Two bathrooms serve the home, each with a shower-tub combination and bathroom essentials provided for comfort and convenience. Outdoor living The fully fenced yard is pet-friendly and surrounded by trees. Even in winter, evenings around the fire pit under string lights offer a peaceful way to end the day. A dedicated platform tucked among the trees is set up with mats and props for yoga or quiet reflection year-round. Amenities for comfort & convenience The home includes air conditioning, heating, portable fans, an indoor fireplace, washer and dryer, room-darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets, and a dedicated workspace with WiFi. Entertainment options include TVs, a sound system, exercise equipment, books, and board games. Families will find a crib, pack ’n play, high chair, baby bath, children’s books and toys, safety gates, and a baby monitor. Bikes, beach essentials, free on-site and street parking, and self check-in with a smart lock are also provided. Exterior security cameras are located at the front entrance and parking areas, and additional safety features include smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. Guest access Keyless entry lets you arrive on your schedule. You'll receive your unique access code and detailed instructions on how to use the lock 24 hours before check-in. And just in case—there’s an emergency backup key on-site if the internet ever goes down. Other things to note Before booking, please review the house rules to ensure this home meets your needs. Thornton Creek is wheelchair accessible and we have provided a wheelchair ramp, shower chair/toilet riser/grab bar for any disabled visitors with advanced notice. We are dedicated to offering a comfortable and natural environment for all our visitors. Please note that some of our bedding contains down feathers, and our decor' includes natural elements. Because we are a natural environment, animals and insects can we seen on occasion. We have professional, environmentally friendly, pest control services monthly. We support eco-friendly, sustainable, and environmentally-considerate purchases and practices wherever possible. We forgo single-use items such as Keurig coffee pods, use Brita pitchers for filtered water, and recycle extensively. Exterior cameras are at the front door of each unit and another overlooking the parking area.. There are NO inside cameras. However, we do monitor for sound decibel levels, smoke, and number of people present.
