**We only book to 25 and older. The Skytopia Lakeside Oasis is brand new and sleeps 16 people! Short walk across the street for direct lake access and a dock to enjoy endless lake fun. You will have full access to the dock. This home has high rise sunset SKY VIEWS with HOT TUB! You’ll love the sunset views, floating on your flamingo raft, fishing and paddle boarding from the dock. There’s even a spot to bring your own boat + jet ski. IG stay_at_the_lake The space The Skytopia Lakeside Oasis is newly renovated private home with incredible sunset lake views of Candlewood Lake. Only 1 mile from the The Candlewood Inn wedding venue. You will get an extensive list sent to you after you book your stay, of activities, restaurants and fun things to do in the area. This home altogether is able to sleep up to 16 people. Bring your own boat and/or jet ski or rent from the marina’s nearby with our special guest discount! Enjoy your days on the lake paddle boarding, swimming, jumping off the dock, fishing, floating in “Floatopia” and grilling outside. The Skytopia is directly across the street from Candlewood Lake (the largest lake in Connecticut) which you’ll have direct access to and a dock with floats and an area to swim. The Skytopia is less than a mile away from the wedding venue, The Candlewood Inn. This house is a perfect location for a groomsmen or bridal party to get ready at or have the option for family/ friends to stay all together. Also a great spot for multiple families or groups of friends to enjoy spending time together. OUTDOOR There is private parking in the driveway which can fit up to 6-7 cars, so plan accordingly. As you exit your vehicle, you walk up a set of stairs to a large oversized deck in the front of the house with beautiful lake views of Candlewood Lake. A few more steps up and you will be on another level of deck, perfect for grilling and dinning outside which is right off the kitchen. The entire deck is private for you and your guests. You can also walk directly across the street to the waterfront restaurant/bar and enjoy food and drinks by the water. THE LAKE You'll have access to the dock at the lake which is directly across the street. This area includes an area to swim, float, paddle board and even a place to bring your boat or jet ski! There are 3 paddle boards, and multiple tubes down by the dock. You can launch your own boat from Latin's Cove (public launch). You will receive coordinates to the dock, once you book your stay! Latin's Cove is free of charge, but get there early to avoid waiting in line. You can also bring your own floats for your time at the lake. The dock is located on the east side of the lake and you'll get sun all day long! The home is surrounded by marinas to rent a boat from as well! Inquire if you have any questions. THE HOUSE When you walk up to the home and sit on the adirondack chairs overlooking the lake you will feel instantly relaxed! You’ll walk into the kitchen area which is perfect for inside/outside dinning. You’ll find rattan light fixtures that give relaxed boho vibes, an oversized round table which seats 8, the peninsula island seats 3 and there are also extra folding tables and chairs in a closet if you want to host a larger sit down dinner. There is also patio furniture outside to dine at. Kitchen is fully stocked and has a refrigerator, electric stove top with oven and microwave. Off the kitchen is a living room with 2 story high ceilings with incredible lake views. The living room has a large oversized sleeper sofa, Smart TV and large oversized coffee table to sit around and play games at. BEDROOM 1 Off the living room is a bedroom with 2 queen beds, 65’ Smart TV, makeup desk with chair, balcony with lake views and en suite. The en suite also has dual purpose and has a washer and dryer, new tile throughout and rain shower. This bathroom is also connected to the back hallway. BEDROOM 2 As you go up the stairs you come to the upstairs hallway which overlooks the living and the views of the lake. The second bedroom is a “Sky” theme with floor to ceiling cloud wallpaper. You’ll feel like you’re sleeping up in the clouds. The Sky room has 2 queen size beds, a 65’ Smart TV, makeup desk with chair, private balcony with lake views and its own en suite. The en suite is all brand new including, vanity, new tile throughout and rain shower. BEDROOM 3 The last bedroom upstairs has a “Water” theme. The Water room has a floor to ceiling water wallpaper, 2 queen size beds, a bunk bed with 2 twin size beds, a 65’ Smart TV, makeup desk with chair, private balcony with lake views and its own en suite. The en suite is all brand new including, vanity, new tile throughout and rain shower. All rooms are completely renovated, have brand new furniture and mattresses, mirror and makeup desk, and hooks for your towels. The home is stocked with everything you'll need during your stay; dishes, cookware, glasses, towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, shower essentials, cleaning products, laundry and dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels and pack and play. We have tried to get crosswalks and better access with the town to no avail. There are also many stairs at this location. But worth it once you see the views! Guest access You will have access to the entire home, deck, private outdoor area, private parking area. There is a smart lock on the door for easy, keyless access for the whole group. Full access to lake and dock area. Other things to note Bring your own boat/ jet ski or you can rent from a nearby marina. Lakeside Watersports out of Echo Bay Marina will captain a boat for you, pick you up at the dock and teach you any water activity on the lake! Please note: •Check in is at 4 PM •Check out is at 11 AM •Early check-in or late check out is extra fee if it’s available. •No smoking inside- There will be a $500 smoking fee if smoking of any kind occurs in the home. •Stained linens- There will be a $50 linen fee applied per set if any sheets or towels have to be thrown out if smells or stains cannot be removed. •Cameras -The exterior of the house has camera coverage. This is for your safety and ours. •Please be mindful and courteous to the neighbors. Please limit loud outdoor music. •No tape on the walls. If paint is removed, there will be a $200 fee. RULES: 1) You cannot park at Down The Hatch to use the lake or for additional parking. 2) If we get a complaint from any nearby neighbors, you will be charged an additional fee and asked to leave the rental immediately. We take this very seriously! Please be respectful at all times!! 3) DO NOT throw out your garbage at Down The hatch dumpsters.
