Cozy tiny cabin on large lake! - Heifer Hotel

Welcome to our little slice of heaven on earth! This tiny home sits on 40 acres with its own private lake full of fish and wildlife. You can swim, fish, or float as much you like and walk as far as you can see. 5 minutes away you can take a walk down the quaint city of Florala which offers many antique stores and the beautiful Lake Jackson. Visit Destin with its white sand beaches, PDL Springs, Vortex Springs, or Econfina all within an hour. Please ask about water level of lake before booking! The space 🏠Cabin Location: The cabin sits at the back end of our property. There is a few acres of woods between us so we cannot see the cabin and guests cannot see our house. We like to give guests as much privacy and space as possible! Both homes sit on the large lake, so guest may see us on our finger that stretches out into the lake and we can see guest when paddle boarding/ swimming on our end of the lake. Pictures to help visualize the land are on listing! 🐍Wildlife: Be on the lookout for wildlife! There have been snakes, gators, and beavers spotted in the lake so please keep eyes open when walking and paddling around. 🌧️ Water Level: The lake is rain fed, so in the dry winter months it gets low and can even empty. Please ask about the water level before booking if that is a factor for your stay! ✝️ Sundays: We don’t have check in, so you can check out anytime before dark! If you would like to extend your stay to a Sunday, just message us in the app. Guest access Guest can use the full back half of the property, including the bamboo forrest behind the dam. There is a gate when you walk towards our home to separate our private residence. Guest also have access of full lake! Other things to note There is a King bed, a twin size trundle bed (rolls under the king) , and a large cot if sleeping 4! Please let me know if you have more than 2 guest so I can make sure the small bed and cot are prepared for you ! :) During the months October-January, the lake dries out! It generally fills back up again in end of Feb / March!
