Monkey Puzzle is affectionately named for a well known tree in the front lawn of this house, it seems that everyone in town is familiar with our Monkey Puzzle tree. We purchased this house last summer and have done a total renovation to get it ready for Summer 20024. Everything in Monkey Puzzle is brand new; including 2 bathrooms, kitchen cabinets and appliances, central air, and an amazing gunite pool. The space We took great care to preserve this historic cottage. Many of the interior finishes, doors, trim, and knobs have been carefully restored and preserved. We eschewed trends and kept the original cottage feel, this home is the opposite of "open floor plan", the division of rooms makes this house feel cozy. Monkey Puzzle is in a prime Bellport location, just several blocks from downtown. Monkey Puzzle is a small cottages, 6 people can sleep comfortably, but that would be tight for a long stay. Up to five people and occasional guests would be ideal. Unique door code provided day of check in. We live just a few blocks away and are happy to help familiarize you with the house and Bellport. We won't stop by unless you call us over. Special notes: -Pool depth: 4.5 ft, flat bottom, no deep end, no diving! Yes, it is heated. -Parking for 2 cars, there is no overnight parking on the street -Yard is fenced -Cleaning can be arranged with our cleaners -Parents of young children, there are many antiques and fragile items in the house; this house may not be appropriate for young children.
