Our oceanfront villa in Samana is a luxurious retreat designed to offer peace, privacy, and a profound connection with nature. A little bit of ourselves and how we got here: We began our journey to creating Agua Santa in 2016 when we visited the Dominican Republic and fell in love with the natural beauty of Samana. Captivated by the area's energy, views, and community, we invested all our savings to purchase land there, envisioning a future dream home. In 2021, after years of saving and planning, we embarked on the ambitious project of building Agua Santa. We personally directed the construction, dedicating nearly two years away from home to ensure every detail reflected our vision and passion. This labor of love resulted in a stunning home, perfectly positioned to capture the breathtaking 180-degree views of La Bahia de Samana, designed to blend local materials with modern comforts, and offering tranquility through its connection with the natural surroundings. Today, Agua Santa stands as a testament to our dedication and love, a serene retreat that embodies the dream we envisioned on our first visit Layout & Amenities: Agua Santa features three spacious bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed with hammocks and large windows that frame the spectacular ocean views. The villa comfortably sleeps six adults and two children, making it perfect for family retreats or small group gatherings. Location & Activities: Located on a cliffside, Agua Santa offers a unique vantage point over the ocean, surrounded by lush nature and the soothing sounds of waves and wildlife. Whether you're sunbathing by the pool or exploring local trails, Agua Santa provides an unforgettable setting for relaxation and adventure. Technology & Comfort: Despite its tranquil setting, Agua Santa is equipped with modern amenities, including high-speed Starlink internet, an industrial stove/oven and a comprehensive security system. Whether you're working remotely from the desk in the master bedroom or cooking a family meal, our home ensures every convenience at your fingertips. Guest access Guests can use all the spaces of the house except the lowered level where the staff resides. Other things to note Air Conditioning: Due to the layout and construction of the property, only Room 2 (the second bedroom, which has a solid roof—not Cana palm leaves) is equipped with a wall-mounted split AC unit. The other two rooms have portable AC units. Electricity on the island is very limited and expensive, so we kindly ask you to use the ACs responsibly.
