The space Welcome to Oyster Cove Getaway, a private waterfront retreat tucked away in Weems, Virginia. Arrive down a tree-lined drive to a spacious, family-friendly 3-bedroom home designed for comfort and connection. The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living room make it easy to gather, cook, and relax together. The primary master suite features a king bed, bunk set (twin over full), crib, and private bath with double sinks and shower. Bedroom 1 offers a queen bed, while Bedroom 2 includes a full bed—both near a hall bath with tub. Entertainment is easy with 3 smart TVs with Fire Stick (living room, primary suite, and queen bedroom), plus air hockey, a Pac-Man arcade machine, and foosball. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, crab pot, and even plates for young children. A high chair is also provided for families. Step out of the living room and follow the oyster shell path—paying homage to the area’s rich oyster heritage—down to your private pier. Spend the day crabbing, fishing, or kayaking (crab pot, kayaks & canoe provided). Evenings are best on the bistro-lit patio, gathered around the waterfront fire pit, or rocking on the front porch. As with many countryside locations, nearby landowners may occasionally engage in lawful hunting or target practice. While this is not a frequent occurrence, guests may hear a gunshot from time to time. Please note that because the home is waterfront, sound can carry farther than it might in other settings. We share this simply to ensure guests are not surprised and can fully enjoy their stay. In addition, across the entire Northern Neck, including the Chesapeake Bay, Rappahannock River, Corrotoman River and Taylor's Creek, warmer and saltier water conditions can bring jellyfish (also called sea nettles). Their sting can be unpleasant, so take the same precautions you would in any natural body of water and swim carefully. On the bright side, these conditions often mean better luck when crabbing! 🦀
