Below are detailed check-in instructions along with pros and cons during your stay -Check-in: anytime after 3pm -Check out: 11am -Address: 2282 Butterwood Rd Charlotte Courthouse VA 23923. -TO UNLOCK THE DOORS: -From the outside, the key chain is located above both front and back door on the right. Please note: keep the key with you during your stay. -LOCKING THE DOOR: -Lock from the inside or with the key that is provided. During checkout, lock the door and place the key back on the hook above the door. RULES: -Please no smoking on the property unless discussed beforehand -Please no pets -Please respect quite time starting at 10pm until 11am -Please do not go beyond blue gate -Please turn off lights and electronics when leaving -Please place the food menus back on the board after use -Unless discussed prior, we ask that there be no events or parties, or large groups of unauthorized guests. Failure to follow these rules will result in the reservation being terminated immediately without a refund. -PARKING: -Coming up the driveway, please stay to the right. Do not go Left once the driveway splits. The driveway can hold up to 3 cars. There is an additional parking area at the entrance of the property on the left! The basketball court can also be used for parking -PROS: 1)Very peaceful and quiet countryside getaway 2)Basketball court with ball 3)Drinkable well water from all faucets 4)Privacy and personal space 5)Guest computer 6)Wifi(password is located on the back of the T-mobile box) 7)Snacks and coffee 8)3 Air conditioners (Window Unit) 9)Heaters and fans 10)Washer and dryer/ Clothes line in the backyard 11)Any guest booking for 5 or more days will receive a complementary frozen pizza 12)Disney, tubi, and hulu available on the tv 13)Microwave 14)BBQ Grill Outside with free bag of charcoal 15)We have a clothes line with clips outside for traditional drying 16)Fire pit with wood stash -CONS: 1)If windows and doors are left open, Bugs will become a problem 2)Internet is not the fastest due to the rural area. Working on upgrades now 3)Master Bathroom door does close but with some difficulty. Has a lock latch at the top on the inside 4)This home is on our 9 acres of family owned property, so you will have distant neighbors 5)Washing machine water must be turned off after every use 6)Nearest main city (Appomattox) is about a 15 to 20 minute drive from the house 7)The light switch/knob in the middle bedroom and living room needs to be pressed hard to turn on -COMFORT: -There will be a few note tags around to assist in directions, use, or location of items. We also do have a security camera overlooking the driveway. Everything in the home is available for use. There are more linens and snacks available per your request. We do have bug spray in the laundry room above the washer.
