Paris (East unit) is our latest listing! This fully-renovated apartment is part of a house that’s over 100 years old and converted into a duplex. With high ceilings and Paris-themed decor, you can enjoy the city life vibes while enjoying the small town area. Take a short walk to downtown Newton for boutique shops, restaurants, or catch a movie or band within walking distance! A quick 10 minute drive to Hickory is convenient for more options as well. **PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION** The space The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils necessary for making a dinner at home. Books, board games, and other fun indoor activities make for a great evening to have some friendly competition. Smart TVs in both bedrooms and living area and Wireless Internet make it easy to work from home or enjoy a relaxing stress-free getaway. Enjoy our brand-new bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo for flexible bathing options - including complimentary shampoo/conditioner and soap. The house is located in a curve with plenty of parking situated right by the back porch for easy access when unloading your luggage. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: -- We have two bedrooms, each with a full-size queen bed and their own closet. -- There is a large sleeper-sofa in the living room that provides an additional queen-size sleeping area for two people. -- All pillows and linens are provided. PETS: -- Pets are allowed with a pet fee. Please add the pet as a selection during your booking process. ** IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT BRING PETS THAT ARE PRONE TO BARKING ** We understand that dogs like to talk too, but there may be guests in unit next door, and we want all of our guests to have the best experience possible. FEATURE SUMMARY: ** NO LAUNDRY ON-SITE ** There is a very nice laundromat close by if you need to laundry services during your stay. -- Appliances include: fridge/freezer/icemaker, sink, stove, oven, microwave, mixer, toaster & coffee maker (carafe & pods). -- Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, utensils, & paper towels will be provided for your use. -- A coffee bar includes ground coffee, creamer, sweetener, and a few coffee pods -- Cooking oil, salt/pepper are provided. -- A hair dryer and showering essentials/bath towels are available. -- Each bedroom has a designated closet with hanger storage. There is also an iron and ironing board. -- A variety of board games are available for your use, including table-top Galaga arcade -- Desk for working is located in the bedroom TECHNOLOGY: -- Smart-TVs are available in the living room and both bedrooms. This unit uses Roku TVs with guest mode. -- High-speed Wi-fi is provided, suitable for streaming and working. PARKING: -- Guests can park up to two cars in the gravel lot behind the house. Please let us know if additional parking is needed. Guest access You will have access to everything inside of this unit (Paris East - 409), as well as access to yard and the patio furniture on the back porch. Note: the storage/supply closet is locked and off-limits to guests. Other things to note As a reminder, this is a duplex, which means there may be guests staying in the other unit. Also this unit does NOT have a washer or dryer; however, there is a nice laundromat close by if you need laundry services during your stay. NOISE POTENTIAL: This property is located on a busy street in town, which brings all the sounds of the city, including traffic and the occasional emergency vehicles/sirens. We do provide noise machines to help even out the sounds for light sleepers :)
