The pristine waters of Loon Lake provide opportunities for swimming, kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding from the beautiful private beach, while fishermen can test their luck from the dock. A private tennis court on the property challenges you to hone your serve, enjoy pickle ball or practice shots on the basketball hoop, also on site. The nearby towns of Nisswa and Pequot Lakes offer boutiques for the shoppers in your group, as well as delightful eateries. On summer Wednesdays, turtle races in Nisswa draw large crowds of participants and spectators! Boat and bicycle rentals are also available. After a day of outdoor fun, watch the sunset paint the horizon, build a bonfire in the lakeshore fire pit and watch the Milky Way pinwheel across the night sky. Rainy evenings can be spent either in the cozy screen porch playing board games and recounting the day's adventures, in the loft playing ping pong or foosball, or watching a favorite movie on the living room TV. Rest and refresh, preparing for another northern Minnesota day in one of three bedrooms: The primary bedroom provides a luxurious king bed with lake and nature views. An ensuite bath, stacked washer-dryer and dresser complete this retreat. The Canoe Room and Fish Room each have a queen bed, closet, and dresser. A full bath is conveniently located between these two bedrooms. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding your next retreat! Guest access Everything inside the house and on the 7 acres are yours to use and explore except the owners closet (locked door next to the stairs) and the maintenance shed (brown shed by the driveway) Other things to note - No motorized vehicles on the lawn - No smoking inside (vape include) - No illegal drugs or illegal substances on the property. - Please return yard games and water toys to the spot found for overnights, once dried. - No tapering/unplugging of the Wifi lock (plug-in) or router, that is grounds for immediate reservation cancellation without refund. - Must be 25 years of age or older to book - No exceeding max occupancy - Please reserve for accurate number of people - Please observe city ordained quiet hours - Exterior Security cameras are on the property for safety Avoidable Fees: - $500 fee for unauthorized events/parties - $500 fee for smoking inside - smoking outside is acceptable - please respect the property and wildlife and dispose of remains. - $500 unauthorized pet fee
