2 10' Kayaks to use on the Lake of Egypt. The cabin is is located on Lakeshore Dr S. The cabin has a bedroom with a queen size bed. The living room has a couch that can lay down and sleep two. The kitchen is stocked with the necessities and has a coffee/tea bar. Full size washer/dryer. The cabin is spacious and open Enjoy a bonfire with wood provided. Fern Cliff State Park is 5 minutes away, Wine trails and other activities within driving. High speed Fiber Optic internet. The space Close to Ferne Clyffe State park and The Shawnee National Forest. SIU, waterfalls, caves and plenty of rocks to climb. 2 Kayaks now with the Cabin, free Kayak launch entrance 2-3 minutes away. Numerous wineries around Southern Illinois. The Cabin sits at the foot of a hill, nestled at the edge of the woods. Enjoy a bon fire on the cool nights with wood provided. Grille provided with propane. A neck of the lake is across the road and just a short distance into the woods. There are Marinas on the lake to launch a boat, and places to rent Pontoon boats. Plenty of wild life around the property. Guest access The driveway can hold 4 vehicles. If you have a Boat trailer, the area next to the driveway has some rock in it and would be able to park a boat trailer in front of the fire pit area. The Cabin sits at the corner of Lake Shore Dr S and Indian Creek Rd of the Lake of Egypt. Keypad entry into the Cabin Other things to note Now 2 Kayaks available at the Cabin. The Cabin has a Smart TV and high speed Fiber optic internet. A little over 500 sq ft inside. Has a full kitchen. The bedroom is 12x11 with an outside door going to the Patio area. The Living room has a couch which folds down for a double bed as well as a chair which folds down to make a bed for a small child if needed. The outdoors has a Patio with chairs and a coffee table and grill. The inside of the cabin walls have hewn pine, with the dividing walls made of Amish sawmill cut White Oak. The tables and the kitchen shelf also made from the Same White Oak. The cabin is nestled into the hill with plenty of ferns growing in the hill. Across the road and through the woods is a neck of the lake. If interested in boating, there are 2 public boat launches on the Lake, Mack's marina, and Pyramid acres, $5-10 dollars. Great fishing, also boat, and jet ski rentals on the lake.
