Reconnect, recharge and refresh your week The space Nestled in the quiet countryside with a picturesque 180 degree view of Lake Mexia, our lakefront home provides you with all the amenities for a blissful family getaway. You will notice how time seems to slow down while you reconnect and spend quality time with loved ones away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Sitting by the firepit enjoying the tranquil sunset over the lake or being adventurous and jumping off the dock- it is truly a reset button. Explore the lake on our tandem kayak or go fishing. Cook up a meal, sip a glass of wine on the back porch or explore the nearby state park or restaurants. Our home is within 2 hours drive from the DFW or Austin areas and 30 mins from Waco. We have high speed wifi internet if you need to work remotely or stream movies. Other things to note The home has all the basic necessities including a TV, washer dryer and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with essential cookware for meal prep and an electric cooktop. There is no conventional oven, but we do have an air fryer, microwave oven and a Keurig coffee machine. A basic outdoor grill is also available. The house is located on Lake Mexia and in a quiet countryside. You may see different bird species, deer and other wildlife in the area. Our neighbors have pets. The Door code will be provided on the day of Check-in. Punch the 4-digit code and press unlock to open the Front Door. WIFI internet username/password will be shared on the day of Check-in.
