Country Apartment

Take it easy at this unique country getaway. Out in the country but 4 min from downtown Erie and 12 min from downtown Lafayette gives you enough of a breakaway feel. Lots of light but with option to roll down the room darkening shades! Lots of wildlife with birds, squirrels and the odd neighborhood cat makes this place unique. Private entrance, you let yourself in or I can meet you. Off-street parking. Secure property. Work from home. Plush Queen bed and Queen sofa bed with mattress topper. The space Super plush queen size bed. There is also a pull out queen sofa. I have a mattress topper to make it comfy. There is a desk and chair for you to work from home if you choose. There is one step down into the kitchen area and one step up into the bathroom area. The bathroom offers a corner shower. There is a small table and chairs for you to eat at. We have fast wifi as I work from home. My office is on the other side of the kitchen area. I do have soundproofing pads on the door but you can still hear me on the phone every now and then. You help yourself into the guesthouse with a lockbox. In terms of cooking: Kettle Keurig 2 burner induction stove Microwave Multi-use airfryer. You can toast, bake pizza, roast veggies, roast chicken etc but not an actual stove/oven. We are in the country and surrounded by acres of farms so this means we have lots of birds, squirrels, bunnies, the odd neighborhood cat every now and then and unfortunately, a mouse every now and then. I DO have quarterly pest control all throughout the year but I will make every effort to get rid of a mouse the minute you alert me. It comes with the territory. In the summer, I ramp up pest control for wasps and mosquitos. Along with the big beautiful trees that shade the yard, towards end of summer, beginning of fall, we get a month or two when box elder bugs come out. Again, all this gets treated with pest control. It's the give and take of nature. Guest access Outside my office and your space, there is an outside sofa. You are welcome to use it. It gets beautiful sun and we can watch the birds and squirrels. It makes for such a nice break from work. Other things to note I do have guns on the property but they are unloaded and locked in a safe as I have children.
