Here's the layout and amenities for each unit in our 4-plex: Unit 1: Ground floor with 1 bedroom featuring a full-size bed, a sofa, and direct access to the laundry room. Unit 2: First level, with 2 bedrooms each hosting a full-size bed. Convenient access to the laundry room. Unit 3: On the second level, this unit includes 2 bedrooms with full-size beds and a sofa for additional seating or sleeping. Unit 4: Top floor equipped with 2 bedrooms, each with a full-size bed, a sofa, and a private laundry machine. Kitchen Amenities: All units feature full kitchens equipped with basic cooking supplies, dishes, a coffee maker, dishwasher, and oven. Common Spaces and Amenities: Docks: Access our private dock directly in front of the 4-plex; please respect the neighboring docks. Beach: The property's beachfront is exclusively yours, except for occasional access by maintenance or management. Garage: Four garage stalls are available for your vehicles. Laundry: A laundry room is available, with direct access from Units 1 and 2. Outdoor Features: Each unit has its own patio, perfect for enjoying the lake views. Recreational Rentals: Pontoon: Available for rent at $300/day from sunup to sundown (fuel is extra; pontoon is provided full and must be returned full). Canoe: Free use of our canoe; please bring your own life jackets. Please Note: Parking is limited to 4 vehicles in the lot and 4 in garages (8 Total). No parking on the grass, as per city rules. Boat trailers may be stored at Government Point Boat Launch for a small fee they charge per day. 5 min drive to the boat launch. Guest access Guest Access: Guests enjoy comprehensive access to the property, designed to enhance your stay: Units: Access to all four units in the 4-plex, each equipped with full amenities. Parking: Four garage stalls and four parking lot spaces are designated for your vehicles. Docks: Full access to our private dock directly in front of the 4-plex. Please respect the neighboring docks. Beach: The private beach area is yours to enjoy. Note that maintenance or management may access the boat lift via the yard. Laundry Room: Guests are welcome to use the laundry facilities. Please note that cleaning supplies found here and under the stairs are for cleaner use only and not available for guest use. Boat Lift: Available for rent; please reserve if needed to secure access. Outdoor Areas: Each unit includes a patio area; enjoy the views and lakefront ambiance. Attic and Storage Areas: The attic and under-stair storage are off-limits to guests. Safety in Emergencies: In case of a tornado, a crawlspace is accessible under the building through the storage closet under the stairs or through basement windows. We strive to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible while ensuring the safety and proper use of all facilities. Other things to note Property Condition: Please note, our property is charming with a rustic, cabin-like feel, but it is not in perfect condition. While we strive to address repairs and maintain the property, some areas are dated and could use updates. Given that our busy season is about 8 weeks a year, keeping everything in pristine condition is unsustainable. However, as long as you come with the right expectations, you will likely enjoy your stay, especially as most of your time will be spent outdoors. Each unit’s AC is located in the living room, and while bedrooms do not have ACs, fans are provided to help circulate the air on extremely hot days. Thanks to our location on a peninsula, we often enjoy nice breezes that contribute to a comfortable environment. Pet Policy: If you plan to bring your pet, they must be included in the reservation as an adult guest. This policy adds approximately $15 per night per pet. Please clean up after your pet both inside and outside the property, and keep wet dogs outside and off the furniture. Mosquito Control: Our location benefits from natural breezes that help keep mosquitoes at bay, and the city performs regular mosquito fogging on our street, so it’s rare to encounter mosquito issues. Local Attractions: We are located on the famous Squaw Point. At the end of the point is a sandbar where people gather to park their boats, party, and swim.
