Dalkeith Great House are self catering cottages . The atmosphere here is of a small friendly guest house only 10 minutes drive away from Mandeville town . Dalkeith Great House was an old Colonial Plantation of Bananas and Coffee covering some 600 acres. It was the former home of the well known Television personality Ken Maxwell. Dalkeith Luxury Cottages are adjacent to the Great House with private entrances. Relax and enjoy the pool with the whole family at this unique place to stay. The space At Dalkeith Greathouse you can experience the ultimate escape of being surrounded by nature's beauty and peace. As you enter the driveway of this enchanting paradise you will be greeted by the squawking of peacocks and the clucking of chickens and by our friendly ,welcoming staff . Our large secured off- road parking lot is available free of charge on property for our guests which allows for convenience and peace of mind. Guest access Unauthorized guests are not permitted on property (extra guestcharges will apply). Guests have access to the pool and garden areas. However, guests are not permitted entry into the greenhouse without permission. Other things to note We would like to inform guests that we have an apiary in a secluded area barred from guests on property. Guests are advised not to enter into that area while visiting. Transportation We would like to inform guests that it will take approximately 10 minutes to walk from Dalkeith Greathouse to the main road to get taxis to go into Mandeville town. Poolside Safety Guests travelling with children are responsible for supervising their children when using the pool at all times .
